Hi All,
I have been 'sick' (had a wisdom tooth extracted) and have been off Oxycise for a few days now and cant seem to get motivated to start again. My mouth is still sore and I just cant seem to get around to doing exercise even though I know I have to. Also I had been doing O for about 2 weeks but really hadnt noticed any changes and then have stopped for a few days, how long did you guys take to notice changes. I only want to lose about 11 pounds (5kg) but have been very unsuccessful. Cheers Shell

Hi Shell!

Sometimes it's hard to start up again, but I hope that you will! Two weeks isn't very long, really. Lots of folks have to wait longer than that to see results. Please just jump in here with us and try it again. Join us on the D2L (determined to lose) thread for lots of encouragement and support. Since your mouth is sore though, I would definitely go easy on restarting. Smile Be gentle with yourself!

thanks so much Susanna for your encouragement. I was wondering how I would go with the breathing and have been a bit afraid to try I must admit. Tomorrow maybe! Everyone really seems to say this works so I do want to give it a go. I have just drafted a letter cancelling my gym membership as I wasn't getting to go there very often at all and I found it was a waste of money. Once again thanks very much. How do I join the D2L group? Shell

Shell,

Just scroll down on the board until you come to "Daily Support and Accountability", and open up the most recent day's post. Hit "reply" on the current date's post, and your post will be there with the rest. I didn't have any experience with boards like this before, but it's fun once you get the hang of it. Smile I've "met" some awfully awesome O-pals here, that have really helped me keep on keeping on.
See you there!!!

Hi Shell!

My name is Rich and I'm new to Oxycise. I am officially starting tomorrow. (Thursday) I got my book and tapes on Tuesday.

If you have the tapes, I would suggest continuing to watch them. I think that just listening to Jill talk about the benefits of Oxycise and watching her do the exercises will be motivating. It will make you feel like you're still "in the game" even though you can't do the breathing yet.

Hope you're better soon.

Rich
