Hi, I just received my o and tried it this morning. Do you have do do all 30 positions? I am still trying to do the o correctly and the various positions make it harder to do.
Also, can you break it down to 5 min at a time? I can't do the whole 15 without being too lightheaded.
Thanks for any input....
Patti

Hi Patti! I'm glad your O! arrived. No...you don't have to do all 30 positions at first. However, you will want to work yourself up to where you can do 30 reps. If any position is too difficult for you or hurts, then just substitute a different one for it. Also, it might be easier at first not to try and keep up with the DVD. Just start out doing the first few positions over and over until you've done 30 reps.... even if it takes much longer than 15-20 minutes. Oh...and that's part of the beauty of Oxycise!...you don't have to do it all at one "sitting". In fact, I think the EDI series actually breaks it into three 5-minute segements. There have been plenty of times I've gotten distracted and had to finish my routine later.

Good luck! Hope to see you posting in D2L with us.

thanks. It looks like it works out to 120 breaths for the 15 min. Right now, I can't do that many in a row, it hurts and I get light headed. Can I just do a few breaths then do more later, or do I have to do 5 min (or 40 breaths) together to get results??

Just do what you can. Try slowing down, too. That might help with the light-headedness.

Hi Patti, welcome to O! I'm new at this too, I find it hard to keep up with the tape too, so what I started doing today was just reading the poses out of the book, it took me alittle longer, but that way I knew I was doing the breathing right and could really feel it. I do the commuter CD sometimes too, even if only for 5 minutes, at least I can something in when my day is crazy. Good luck!
