Over the past few days, I've noticed Deep Breathing exercises in several forms of Media--A couple of days ago, there was a big online story re: studies that prove deep breathing exercises lessen the occurance of cluster headaches and migrains--
And last night while watching "The Incredible Hulk", the storyline early on shows Bruce Banner exercising with a Brazilian fitness instructor learning how to control his anger and pulse by some very interesting, and I'm guessing, ancient, abdominal breathing techniques. I found it all very fascinating.
I think we've only begun to scratch the surface on just how effective abdominal breathing is. Eastern cultures have been using these techniques for centuries--
