ok even though I have done oxycise a few times over the past years, I always have to sorta *relearn* the breath. I know the very first time I did oxycise, I got the headaches and it was explained to me I was getting too much oxygen or blowing out too much dioxide or whatever it was..cant remember exactly now, but I remember posting and getting help with it.
Well something is going on again, I know I am doing something wrong, atfirst I didnt realize it was the oxycise but now I have caught on, and its for sure happening about 10 mins after doing oxycise and lasts for about 30 mins.
I get..
grouchy and kinda *stressed out* and kinda angry and snippy.
its a bit hard to explain but I get really snippy is the best word..I am kinda grrrr you know?
And its happening every time I am doing extra basic breaths around the house.
So I figure its a bit of a mental reaction to either over blowing out or inhaling a wee bit too much, but I was just curious if anyone else had ever notice this, and if they figured out if it was over blowing or over inhaling or if it just faded after time or what?

Thank you in advance! Jessa

Jessa,
I've never really experienced a snippy feeling from doing O, but my usual headache increases while I do my workout. However, it soon leaves when I finish, and the benefits of doing O far outweigh the pain, so I do it anyway. I really don't know why you would experience this emotional surge. Make sure you exhale completely. This seems to be hard for some folks, but it's important that you let all the air out that you took in.

I hope things settle down for you soon! Remember that it will become more natural with time, and your body will adjust to the added oxygen, and love you for it!
