I posted the following on another part of the forum, but thought I would post here as well:
Well, I am still waiting for my Oxycise system to come in, but I found the Oxycise book at a Half Price Bookstore, so I have been reading it and attempting to do the basic breath. My problem: I suck plenty of air in, and my belly really expands with my breath. Then I tilt my pelvis, tighten the buns, roll my belly up into my rib cage, and attempt to take my 3 sniffs- but it feels like there is no room in my lungs for my three sniffs- I can maybe manage one or two, but trying to get three in, I am gasping and wheezing, and sometimes end up losing some of my inhaled breath before it is time to exhale. Is this still effective in inch loss? Will my lung capacity improve to where I can take my three sniffs in time? Also- in order to count as the 15 min workout and thus see inch loss, is it necessary to get into the stretches when doing breath reps? Or will doing the 30 breath reps while sitting at my desk throughout the day be beneficial to inch loss?
Thanks for the help!

I think Jill says in the videos that there shouldn't be much room for the 3 extra breaths..and that that's how you know you're doing it right. If you give me your e-mail, I'll forward the breathing tips that I got from Julie when I first started (I'm pretty sure I've still got them at home)...those will really help! e-mail me at laurashelby@cox.net and when I get home I'll check and make sure I saved them and will e-mail them to you.

Hey Beth!! Sorry... I was checking my home e-mail from work when I responded to you and proceeded to delete your e-mail..so I don't have your address anymore! Can you please send it to me again...I found the breathing tips at work, so I can send it to you for sure!
Thanks! Laura
