I'm trying to learn from the book and I'm not super coordinated. For instance, in the diagonal leg raise, do you raise the leg, position the foot, bend the standing knee, then breathe? And do you lower the leg after each breath (in other words, raise and lower it 4 times?)

I always try to get into the position before I take my first breath. I then hold that position the entire four breaths.

Keep in mind, though....the breath is what's really important. Don't slack on that worrying about whether everything else is just right! That's why I sometimes enjoy doing my breathing while I'm doing some other activity.

That helps a lot. I'll work up to holding the position through the four breaths. I can't do it with all of them yet.
