I'm starting Oxycise again after a brief "vacation". I've been doing it every day now for a week and feel almost totally rejuvinated. But one troubling thing I've noticed is an increase in hunger. After I"m done, I want to simply raid the fridge. Is this normal? I'm trying to drink more water, but I must tell you--I WANT FOOD!!! Any ideas?

Do you think it's possible the hunger is due to something other than Oxycise!? I know I go through "phases" where I want to eat all the time....sometimes lasting for days.

All I can think to suggest is drink lots of water and maybe get some sugerfree gum to chew. That's what I try to do when I get "hunger binges".

Glad you're back to O!ing!

Pearl,

I noticed the same with me when I first started. What I did was keep a water bottle near me when I "o'ed" and when finished "Oing" I ate an apple or some other fruit. I sometimes would get shakey so I knew I needed the "natural" sugar that comes from fruit. That did hold the hunger off for a while.

Keep that water flowing in. You need to work up to drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water. Sounds like a lot, but you will notice a big difference in how you feel.

Hope this all helps you.

Until next time...

Your hungry because your body just used up a lot of energy (calories) doing oxycise.
The best thing to do when you're hungry is EAT!
I know it sounds insane Eek
Eat when you're hungry stop when you're full. Trying to trick your body into not being hungry isn't going to help in the long run.
Listen to your body. It knows what it needs.

Hi! I just want to add my $.02. When I first started Oxycise, I read that the best time to exercise was first thing in the morning, before eating. Supposedly that revs up your metabolism. Fine and good. I tried it, and I was ravenously hungry most of the day! Every time I turned around I was hungry!!! I switched then to doing it just before I went to bed. It relaxes me, and I find that works much, much better. My appetite returned to normal, and I lost weight! One thing wonderful about Oxycise is that it's "tweakable", so tweak it to work for you!

I agree that when you're hungry, you need to eat. Just be sure you're eating things that are really good for you!

Thanks for all your responses. I took a good look at what I was doing and frankly I really wasn't drinking enough. I'm back up to 8 glasses of water a day and am now keeping my sport bottle with me while O'ing and it does help. I'm still hungry but not as much as before. I plan to try increasing my water intake little by little.

Hi, Pearl--

I used to have this happen too, but since I've been adding more veggies and healthful filling items (such as a piece of whole grain bread) to my regular meals, this is no longer an issue. I believe you may not be eating enough during your regular meals. Try adding more good foods, and of course, drinking the water should help too! Good luck, and let us know about your progress.
