Just wondering..I've been reading alot of the success stories that come out in the newsletter, and it seems that every single one the person not only did Oxycise but also modified their diet - and the result was inches/weight loss.

I'm wondering if there are any people out there who have lost inches/weight by ONLY doing Oxycise and making a point to NOT modify their diets.

It makes me wonder how much the Oxycise really has to do with losing. I've been Oxycising on/off now for several weeks. The same with my diet - off and on. I haven't lost anything. In fact, my waist increased slightly.

I don't know if there are those out there not changing their diets but, I believe there are some. I have more weight to lose and so I feel it necessary to speed the process along with the combination of the two.

I can tell you that I have never been so toned. I started noticing that a few weeks into the program. I was laying on my side in bed with my hand on my upper thigh when I flexed it. Wow! I couldn't believe how hard it was. I have the same results with my buns. It just gives me more to concentrate on then the scales. I am also one of those that has to see results or I am outta there.

Another thing I have noticed is that I haven't had a cold since starting Oxycise two years ago. I did get a sinus infection but it cleared up faster than it ever has in the past. My sinus headaches are nearly non-existant. I used to have nasty headaches nearly once a week. So you see, there are so many benefits to getting that extra oxygen into your system. Please keep that in mind as well.

I personally have made some changes to my diet but I am certainly not on onelike a Slimfast or Atkins for example. I eat more fruits & vegetables & less junk but I certainly do not deprive myself. What seems to work for me is to exercise self control. If the family is eating ice cream for example, I will too but less. If my DH wants a Snickers I'll eat one too. But I do try to be reasonable at other times & not eat seconds or thirds at meals, try to increase veggie intake & decrease a little on the rice & potatoes. Oxycise does work but in anycase O! or no we should not fill our bodies with junk. This week I have snacked more so I expect to see less results. My past track record is to eat to relax & relieve stress so I need to learn to deal with that through prayer instead of food.

I went and looked at my accountability log that I started the first time I did O. in May of 2001,,,, there I refused to change my eating habits becouse I couldnt believe that it would work with out... and it DID... It was slow but here you go this is what happend in one week I lost 12 3/4 inches and I lost 7 pounds......

But With CHANGING my diet. in only the 6days that I have been doing it.... I have lost17 inches AND5 pounds. I am alot heavier than I was the last time that I started so I am sure that I will loose differently now. BUT I hope that this helps... I see the best thing that we can do.. is never to deprive ourselves that only makes us crave it more. and to make sure that you do all things in Moderation.

Keep up your hard work... I promise this will change your life more than you will ever know.
Good LUCK

When I first started up O again, I didn't change my diet at all. I would only lose 1/2 or 1/4 inches at a time, but did lose. Only very slowly! I have since cut out some carbs (I ate WAY too much of these anyway!) and have started seeing better results!
