Alright I've been doing Oxycise this week but to me it just feels almost like bodyflex except with extreamly easy exercises. I just don't get the 3 extra sniffs and the puffs. After i breathe in and I tighten my abdominals I can't do those three extra sniffs. Sometimes i can but it just doesn't feel right on my body while i'm trying to scoop in my belly. Sometimes it feels like if I suck in anymore air while tightening my abdominals then I'm going to pass out. Thats my first problem so i need help with that. My second problems is the puffs. I cant seem to form the perfect small lip thing to exhale air forcefully. It's hard to force out the air, I just intentionaly puff it out fast. Doesn't feel right but I read somewhere on this board that It's suppose to have a coughing feeling when you exhale. My exhale does not feel like that and in fact my exhale feels more like i'm blowing out air and just simply tightening my abdominals more intentionaly.

Kitana,

To simplify it extremely...just take as deep a breath as you can, then tighten your abs, squeeze your buns and kegal, and sniff 3 times. Exhale like you're blowing through a trumpet or other wind instrument, with force, like you're pushing all that air out. The 3 puffs are just extra effort to be sure you got it all out.
The cough was a practice thing, so you could feel your abs tighten. It's not something you feel on the exhale.

Jill's positions may seem very easy, but they work all the different muscle groups without putting too much stress on them. I do use other positions from other programs because I don't have any way to watch videos, and I can't do all of the level 1 positions. Other stretching positions are fine, as long as they don't hurt. I've made a few up...with painful results! So, I tend to stay with those Jill and others have come up with.

None of us perfected this overnight, or even in a week. It takes a while. In fact, I lost about 30 pounds before I realized I wasn't doing it right! I had lots to lose though. Since you don't have many pounds to lose, it's not going to happen fast. Good things take patience!!! Keep on trying!!!

I know what you're right! It's time for me to treat my body right for once. I'll keep at it and I'll try to eat healthier. I know I'm not that overweight but It just feel odd when you have a skinny face and a tiny lil pop over belly. Besides may I ask how does your Change one nutriton plan goes?

Let's try this question again...

Am "I" doing the breathing the right way? When I read Jill's book it tells me when you inhale your stomach should go OUT is that correct? When you exhale you tighen and your stomach pushes to your back? Is that right?

Please help me..I really do need to loose this weight not only what the Dr ordred but for ME.

Thanks,

Hugs,

Joyce L
