I love my Oxycise! tapes! I am at the point of doing 2 tapes when I workout and I would love one tape or DVD that lasted 30 min. so I dont have to get up and change them. Any thoughts on that?

Hi Nancy, I think it is a good idea!!
What I do is use one tape and one DVD. Then I just have to click on my remote control to go from one right into the next routine. Have a great day. Sharon |

When I got all my tapes (years ago) I had that same problem. I had my husband set two VCR's up and we recorded all the tapes onto one tape. Now all I do is put that tape in the VCR and they go in order 1 through 4, Buns and Thighs and Upr body. Then I start over or rewind depending on what I feel like doing. I rewind to L2 and 3 a lot. That seems like a nice logical progression. I have level 1, the book and the Car CD on it way. I am getting a tad impenitence too. I have been spoiled by Amazon.dot coms super fast stadard rate free shipping...It has been postal business days and I am really wanting to to start my program.
So yes since you have to either increase intensity which in most resistance programs would mean increase the weight or you can increase the volume which means do more of what you are already doing. You owuld think that they would already have 15,30,45,60 minute workout routines. I understand their premise is 15 minutes a day to fitness but many people on here do this stuff twice a day or more. One guy I read about does it at work, home and in his car! Since I do not have mine yet I have to guess at what they contain. If it is a series of isometrics and breathing then maybe a good book on Isometrics would allow you to put your own routines together and just add int he breathing. I used to making up what I want to when a company does not do it for me especially with fitness. Learn the technique and then make it yours. Again I know their premise is 15 minutes to a healthier you ..........etc.....But if you look at the people historically that lost 100lbs. of fat or more 98% did an hour of exercise each day. Seldom do they break down how much of what they did each day only that it was about 1 hour or more a day 6 days a week. I have probably read 1000 case studies on people that lost 100lbs of fat or more and that is the most often tossed about combo is 1 hour of exercise every day 6 days a week. Now not having tried O yet I can not tell how much of it we are talking about needing to replicate the above case study results but I dare say it will end up being more then 15 minutes 5 days a week for most people looking to lose huge sums like 100lbs. or more. AS I have a good 100lbs. of fat to lose I will make sure to report on how well it is working as I intend to add it into my current workouts. In fact I already sat down and reworked my day to fit it in morning and evening and do my weights in between. The only easy day was yesterday! |
