OK - I have finally decided to commit to Oxycise. This is my first day. I am having trouble doing the reps because I am SO tired. Where is the energy boost everyone is talking about? Also, I make a lot of noise (Loud breathing) on my breaths both in and out. Jill is so quiet. Am I doing something wrong? It took me a long time to put myself first and exercise, so I want to be sure i am doing it correctly. Any help?

Welcome to Oxycise! and the message board!

First...you can check out the thread on breathing tips which is located in the "Newsletters and Announcements" section of the message board for some tips on doing Oxycise!.

As for making noise, I don't know about everyone else, but I make a lot of noise with my breaths!! I'm loud enough that I certainly wouldn't want to try and do it in public! I know some folks have said they get in extra reps in the grocery line or whatever, but people would look at me as if I were crazy if I tried to do that, lol!!

I can't really say it's ever made me tired, but I don't always get an energy boost, either.

Check out the breathing tips, keep on O!ing and come post with us in the D2L (determined to lose) thread for support and encouragement!

Kelly, thank you for getting back to me. Let's keep on breathing loudly together! I have noticed that you reply to many people. That is so nice of you. i was worried no one would reply to me. I will head to D2L next. Thanks again and have a great day. Smile

SmileI'm noisy too. Big Grin Breathing in and out!
I've never tried to be quiet though.

I get a burst of energy if I do O! in the morning. I feel relaxed and a little energized if I O! at night. I never feel like a nap but I know a few of our ladies say they O! at night and then go right to bed.

We're all different.

Welcome to the board and do you have a name we can call you? Wink

Hi! Welcome from me, too! I'm one of those ladies that does O just before bed. It relaxes me, and I can usually go right to sleep. Smile Even if I do it earlier in the day, I get sleepy, so it just works better to at least wait until late afternoon.

Give O your best effort, and you'll be amazed at the difference it makes!!!

Thank you Jeans and Susanna for letting me know what you feel when using Oxycise. I'm just starting out, so I probably should give it a little more time to see how it effects me. I will try to do it later in the afternoon though, or before bed. Maybe I will be able to sleep thru my husband's snoring for once!! Thanks again, Lynn

Hey there, FinallyMe! Welcome. Smile

I'm a super noisy O!er. I always thought I was the only one. LOL. I'm glad you asked so that I would know differently. Smile

I remember when I first started doing Oxycise. It would often make me sleepy. But, I must have gotten used to it because it doesn't have that effect on me anymore. I find it much more energizing now.

Hey EmBe Smile

When I viewed the tapes and looked at Jill being so "ladylike" and quiet - it really made me question my "noise"! Let's just keep doing it - loud or not! Thanks for getting back to me.
