Hey everyone!! I was wondering if some people did oxycise twice a day and how many times a week they do it. I have heard you get a lot faster results doing it 2 times a day Smile I have been on and off oxycise because I start it and feel like I am not getting a lot of weight loss/significant inch loss results and then I kinda slack off on it. I guess I have trouble comprehending how something so easy can be effective, and I know it takes time! Does anyone have any advice to keep doing it even though results may take a while? And do you suggest doing it 2 times a day if time allows?
Thanks for any replies!! Have a great day and God Bless Smile

Hi Angela! Welcome to the board!
Yes, I would suggest you try Oxycising twice a day if you have time. I think the main thing, though, is to be consistent with your workouts.

When I first started, I formed the habit of doing one workout a day, six days a week. (I take off Sundays) I was able to get satisfactory results doing this.

I think the thing that has kept me consistent (even when I'm not having weight-loss results) is the way Oxycise makes me feel. I just seem to be in a better mood when I increase my oxygen level with O! I sleep better and just feel better in general. I think that alone will keep me Oxycising for the rest of my life. It takes so little time....what do I have to lose? (other than maybe a little weight and stress!)

Hi Angela! Welcome! Personally for me, I make myself do it at least once a day...7 days a week. There are times when this once a day is only a commuter routine, and many times when I get in a video as well as a commuter routine. I was running errands this morning and got in 2 commuters already! Am going to the movies later and will try and get some more in while in the car.

I know from this board that there are many people who get in 2 workouts in one day..if you can do it..all the better!! Good luck!

How are you both doing, result-wise?

I think I read one of your posts, Kelly, saying you hadn't seen any changes for quite a while -- do you think you have reached your body's ideal weight?

And Laura, some of your earlier posts showed signs of discouragement. Are things improving for you?

Take care!

I think Oxycise! is a perfect exercise solution for any busy person -- especially college students!

If you have time for 2 workouts per day that's great. But if not, just be faithful with one workout per day.

The more Oxycise! you can do, the better. And you can get lots of extra breaths in throughout the day, between classes, etc.

Don't try to lose weight too fast, and don't drastically reduce your calorie intake. (Doing that can cause your body to rebel and make you gain back extra weight later.) So feed your body healthy foods to keep it happy! Jill stresses the importance of "listening" to your body's hunger signals... this may mean that you eat several healthy "snacks" a day rather than just "by the clock."

And beware of those times when you may feel like stuffing yourself when you aren't really hungry... emotional eating or stress eating, or just eating out of boredom. For me, it happens mostly in the evening.

Jill has done as many as 5 workouts a day (what a WOMAN!) during a 2-week period. She refers to this as her "Quick Tone-Up Regimen." I refer to it as self-inflicted torture (just kidding!)

She did succeed in losing the 5 pounds she had just recently gained while on vacation... and she was "fit and trim" for a filming session
(which is what inspired her to undertake her "quick tone-up" project!)

So it is OK to do extra workouts if you have some kind of deadline coming up. But in general I would suggest that you create a workout schedule that works out best with your own schedule!

Feel free to write if you have questions!

No....I really don't think I'm at my ideal weight (whatever that is!). I haven't been eating properly for the past year (too many sweets and fatty things). I really think if I would concentrate on Jill's Fuel For Success I would start seeing some changes again.

I'm trying not to put too much emphasis on what the scale says anymore. I've been incorporating strength training (Body By Jake) into my routine which I know is putting more muscle on my body. Instead, I'm trying to pay more attention to my measurements and how my clothing fits.

Having said that, I would still like to see the scales say 20 or 30 pounds less than they do now!

BTW....I read your reminder about keeping certain things in the private topics etc. However... is it okay that we mention other forms of exercise that we might use in addition to Oxycise?

Glad to see you back!!!

Hi Jullie...thanks for asking. I've just begun today a new eating program and will hopefully begin seeing results again. I hope that the Oxycise will help me to lose needed inches along with the pounds. I have not lost another inch or pound (in fact I've gained 5 pounds!!) since I've started this, but have now restructured my eating program, so hopefully that will help.

Will keep trying!
