Hello everyone,

I am brand new to this site, just got my Level One package yesterday...I have been practising the basic breath and noticed one thing that seems to happen whenever I blow out really hard - I seem to SPIT.

I know those who play wind instruments have this problem as well...but has anyone doing oxycise had this problem?..and if so, is there anything I can do about it? I am flattening my lips correctly (I think)...so not sure how to fix this.

To answer your question....( YES!!!! Someone else has spit issues!) Don't worry, I think it's like sneezing, there is always some fluid in your mouth and when you blow out, it's gotta go somewhere! I just try to swallow a lot more during O, right before the inhale. Good luck with O, and keep going.
