Should I continue to do weight training? I'm over 50 (53 on saturday) should I do some weight bearing exercises? And if so any suggestions? Thanks so much!!

You can really do anything you want! I think most people prefer to do something in addition to Oxycise to add a bit of variety. I do AquaAerobics 3 times a week in addition. If you enjoy lifting, by all means, keep it up! I think Jill says you can be fit and tone with only Oxycise (as long as you're eating well) and I think that's all she does! It's really just a personal preference. Welcome aboard, DB!

I've always heard that the older we get, the more important it is to do things to help strengthen our bones. That's one reason I've gotten more serious about doing some strength training myself. But as Laura said....it's strictly a personal preference. Hope to see you around more on the board! Kelly |
