Hello Tori,

There are a couple of ways to work the chest muscles with no special equipment. Both are used in various levels of O! workouts.

The first is when you put your arms out in front of you, raise to chest height, clasp your hands together and press together the heels of your hands. This forms a sort of O with your arms. Press through the heels of your hands and you should feel it in the chest muscles.

The second is any form of push up - against the wall, or against the floor. Make sure your back has sufficient support (ie no twinges/pain) when doing floor push ups.

Hope this helps.

Tori,

You might also add weights to your workout. I usually use my 5 pound dumbbells, wherever I can. Use them while standing and hold one behind your back, like you're doing the backscratch, while doing the O-breaths, and then switch arms. Also, the position where you place both arms behind your back at the waist, so your chest muscles are really tight. You can also do similar things with floor positions. I use my chi machine, and since floor positions are all that works there, I adapt several of the other positions to do on the floor. That way my back has plenty of support, also. I think Jill has a special video for that area though. I only have her book and commuter tape.

Good luck!
