Is it normal to gain weight at first on this program?

I have been doing the program for a week. When I started a week ago I weighed 160, this morning I was 162. I do notice a difference in how my thighs feel though, so I know it is working.

Thanks

SmileHey Shellie welcome to the board.

The gain could be water retention. I wonder if you're starting to build muscle. The only way this program would put pounds on you would be from building up muscle.

Come see us on the daily thread titled Determined to lose (D2L).

Welcome to Oxycise!, Shellie!

Be sure to take your measurements. That's where you'll often see the most changes.

Hope to see you posting with us in the D2L thread each day!

It is very easy to sneak extra calories in even when you watch what you eat....keeping a food and mood journal is an excellant way to stay on track with your O!.

Best of luck to you!
