I've been consistently doing Oxycise for the past 3-4 weeks. (This is the first time in the five years I've owned my tapes that I've stuck with it this long!) It doesn't feel like I've lost any inches (I didn't measure), but I am definitely stronger, more toned and emotionally balanced. I only want/need to lose about ten pounds (or the equivalent in inches). Have any of you noticed a significant difference in results when you do two vs. one workout a day? Just curious...

Hi Nancy, I don't have a definate answer for you but I do two sets of L1 at least 5 days a week (except I don't think I can this week). I do my sets back to back because I have more time in the morning after DH leaves for work and before I have to. I have been doing this for maybe two weeks now. I haven't measured yet but I can tell you that by the time I am done with the second set I feel like I would after an hour's worth of pilates. My moods are much more even and I can breathe much better (I have asthma). I sure would like to be able to sell all the diet and exercise junk I have here....it would be like winning the lottery. So far I have stuck with Oxycise longer than any other home system. I hope someone else answers your question because I am interested in the answer too. Bonny

SmileHi nancy

I do one and sometimes two a day. I feel like I've had a super good workout with two. I can finally say I feel my abs tightening. I still have that darn layer of fat but when I suck it in I feel the muscle underneath. That is a true accomplishment for me. I used to do situps all the time and never saw a difference like I have with O!

My daughter told me last week that I have great legs and I told her it's all because of O!. That's the truth! Smile

Like Julie said in another post, if we have a problem with weight loss then maybe we should look at the calorie intake. I can honestly say that's my downfall.

I have been doing O for two weeks and 1 vs 2 is not even an option for me. I need answers from someone who knows. After the first week I definitely lost 3 lbs and about that many inches. But the second week I really, really HURT!! My lower ab and stomach hurt so bad I had to get the heat pad and go to bed. I want to continue but when the pain hurts so bad I don't know if it will start up again if I do the O regular. So now Im scared to try. It takes me an hour NOT 15 minutes to do all the breaths correctly with the 3 sniffs and 3 puffs. I can never keep up with the tape and its like on the video shes not taking the 3 sniffs /3 puffs. Why is it taking me so long? But more importantly why does my lower ab HURT so bad. Its worse than if I had done 100 crunches a day and its directly related to the O. Please help. Anyone else have this when they started? How did you deal with it. I hurt so bad I had to miss work one day. Help, Please. Jill or anyone with knowledge. I know I am breathing correctly. I'm just scared to do it now and hurt.

Hi Drumm. Welcome to Oxycise and the message board!

I don't have any answers for you. I would suggest you write julie@oxycise.com with your concerns. Perhaps she will have a solution for you. Good luck!

Hi drumm, your situation doesn't sound very good....I don't know why that is happening either although I have had some muscle discomfort after doing "O". I copied the link to ask Julie or Jill a question. If it won't work by clicking on it you can scroll down to the last topic on the main page of the forum topics to post your question directly to them. Good luck. Bonny

Thanks for your kind words. I have been sick all week with the stomach cramps and have officially quit doing o till I find out why it hurts. The shame is I've lost time being sick but I saw in one week that this WORKS. just need it not to cripple me with stomach pain.

drumm,

I'm not a doctor, but I would recommend you see one. A little muscle soreness from O! I can understand. Cramping is another story. My guess is the tensing of the muscles might have aggravated another issue/infection. I would have it checked out without delay.

Nancy, thanks for taking the time to answer. I appreciate it. I thought same as you at first, but nope, no infection. how long you been using Oxycise? Success? I just have had a painful experience and want to get past it because I know it works. I saw it in one week and it makes perfect sense too. I really appreciate the support! later

drumm,

So sorry you are having such pain with "O". My first thought was maybe you are pulling in your muscle to tight with the sniffs or maybe you are to tense & need to relax. You could try to "O" with out doing the 3 puffs & sniffs. Then add them back in slowly. Just my 2 cents worth. Ellen

You are SOOOO right! I just couldn't take not doing the O when I know it works. I tried doing it without the 3&3 and have done that for almost a week. It has worked!! No unbearable pain and I am losing weight again!! Yeah!! I want to be able to add back the 3sniffs/puffs but I am so glad to be able to do this again--I am taking that slow. Have added 3&3s to only a couple positions and only for one rep. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer.

Drumm,
So glad you are able to O again. Congratulations on your weight loss.
Take things slow and easy! Wink

Nancy, kinda late in answering you, but I usually do one O, 5 or 6 times a week. Lately, I have been doing 2 a day. Once in the morning and again in the evening with my husband. My weight is coming off faster when I do the 2 a day. Hope this helps.

I have to say my weight comes off faster doing 2 a day as well but one a day is still great!

Bonny if you want to sell your exercise tapes etc I would suggest Ebay - I am just beginning to get rid of all my excess 'stuff' via ebay and it is great!
