Hi All,
I am new to the forum and to Oxycise... I actually just started today after reading the book for the past week. My biggest question is, how do I know I am doing it correctly? I mean I just don't know if it feels right or not? Any help or suggestions would be great!!
Thanks! Smile

Hi princess and welcome to O! Please join us on the D2L daily thread. You'll find lots of supportive people.

Please read Phyllis' post under general oxycise discussions about counting to 4 while inhaling and exhaling before the sniffs and puffs. I found that once I concentrated on doing that I could tell a huge difference in my abdomen.

Again, welcome.

Shari

The breathing tips will walk you step by step through the basic breath so you can be sure you are doing the breathing technique correctly.
You can find the breathing tips located under Newsletters and Announcements. You can also email info@oxycise.com and have the breathing tips sent to you via email. Also be sure to review the Introduction to Basic Breath and Technique video before you begin the workout.

To achieve your best results it's important that you use real intensity in both your breathing and in doing the body positions. Powerful breathing combined with real muscle work will make your workouts most effective. So be sure to breathe and flex with lots of intensity and gusto! Really flex and contract your abdominal muscles with each breath!

Good luck and please let me know if you have any other questions!

Kirstine

Hi Princess!

Welcome to our little spot on the web! Yes, just read the current day's posts, then hit "reply" at the end of the page and post with us! We love to share each other's day!

It takes everyone a little while to get the breathing right, but just keep working on it. Wishing you great results!

Hi Kelly, Kirstine, and Susanna!
Thank you all for the wonderful info... I keep finding more great stuff the more I click around on this forum. I am just really anxious because I want to make sure I get it right.
I used to weigh 225lbs and I lost 75lbs and felt healthy and was great. Then since this January, I have put on 30 lbs and I am having a hard time losing it. So I am really keeping my fingers crossed that the oxycise will be my answer this time.
Kelly, your pictures are wonderful! Congrats to you on your loss!
Thank you girls again!
