Hello Everyone,
I went to the dentist the other day and she said that I have Calculus (hardened plaque). She asked if I exercised and I said yes. She said, "Do you breath through your mouth?" and I said yes. So I'm wondering if anyone else had these issues? I'm going to do more flossing, and brushing, and mouth washing. I'm thinking I might brush after "O". The dentist said that it was odd I had it on my top gum line, and I realized that's where the air comes in when doing "O". I was just wondering if anyone else had/has these issues with "O". Thanks, Jilly |

I'm not sure you are breathing right. Jill tells you to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. If you are inhaling through your mouth you must have a stuffy nose? I know Jill looks like shes inhaling through her mouth when she smiles and inhales, but she isn't. She's inhaling through her nose and exhaling through her mouth. Try it and see if you see a difference. Jeans |

Hi Jeans,
Thanks for replying. I have been trying to smile with my mouth closed. So I don't think I'm inhaling through my mouth. I think it's in the exhale. I'm trying to keep my lips flat and keep my gums covered when exhaling, so I'm not 100% sure what is going on. I'm not going to worry about it too much until my next check up. Thanks for the tips. I just love being able to come here with all my questions. I have never such great support with any other workout program. Jilly |
