I haven't ordered the tapes yet but on the Oxycise website it has all these testimonials with pictures of people who visibly lost weight & inches, but when I read a lot of the posts here I really get discouraged. Some people have been doing it correctly for 2 yrs & no results. What constitutes who will see results & who won't. I have 40 lbs to lose, I watch what I eat on the most part, but have no energy for exercise. I know that this is a small percentage of the people who do Oxycise but I'm not encouraged when I read some of these.

What makes it work?
1.Breathing correctly & doing it with gusto
2.A clean diet (healthy, that is)
3.Perseverance

I personally do not see results if
1.I don't do it everyday
2.I overeat

I need to make an effort to think of what I am putting in my mouth and why. I cannot expect results if I do O then eat 3 brownies & a glass of milk. I HAVE to eat healthy, watch portions but I WON'T deprive myself, believe me. I love food too much.

PS I had to lose 50 lbs in 1982 to get into a Bible school for missionaries. I gained it all back with 6 pregnancies. I realized I had to want to lose weight to get where I wanted to go. You can do it too.

I agree with what Shelby has said in her post. I have been Oxycising for more than 2 years. However, when I first began, I did a better job of watching what I ate. This is NOT to say that I dieted....I didn't! I just ate healthier foods and smaller portions. I still allowed myself treats when I wanted them....just not every day. I lost 44 pounds the first year as well as inches. I was VERY pleased with my results!

In the past year (plus a few months) I have let my eating habits slip back into poor ones. Therefore, I have gained back about 15-20 pounds. I continue to Oxycise, though, because of several reasons.....first of all, I LOVE the way it makes me feel. I like the increased energy and the general good feeling I get from doing it. Also, I feel that if I weren't still Oxycising, I would have gained back ALL the weight I lost.

I know that my biggest obstacle to weight-loss is my appetite....both the size of it AND the things I want to eat. If I would ever correct that, Oxycise alone would have me weighing exactly what I want to weigh.

I definitely recommend Oxycise. It's certainly worked for me!

Ain't that the reason why we are all here? If we were perfectly self controlled in our eating, we probably wouldn't be hereWink !

I hope you give Oxycise a fair trial. I can honestly say I haven't slipped up badly on my eating for 6 months now, and have lost 47 pounds with Oxycise. I have treats, too, but limit them to 100 calories or less most of the time. Otherwise, I allow a few less calories somewhere else.
Oxycise has helped me so much! Give it a chance and join us for encouragement and support!

Thanks for all your responses. I'm going to order them tomorrow after work. I'll start out once a day, & when I get the hang of it, I'll do it before work also. I'll let you all know how I do. Thanks.

I hope you are with us now and everything is working out for you.
I would recommend this program to any one who has an interest in their health.
I sometimes say to myself "no not today" then in the next instant tell myself the 15 min. are very important to me to reach my goal.
I get excited when i tell others of the program guess i'm like the town crier, I want to tell just enough to get them interested.

Everyone is different and therefore lose at different levels. I've been griping because I am not losing it at fast as I would like to. I continue doing it mainly because of how it makes me feel!! I sleep so much better. I don't huff and puff going up stairs or walking down the isles at Wal-Mart. My moods are much better. Less depression than I have had in years!! Best of all is that as I lose I don't get the baggy skin some get when they lose a lot of weight. Mainly we do the chats for the encouragement to keep going. So we talk more about the hard times. I hope you bunches of success!!
