Hello Everyone,

I was just curious to know if anyone else is doing anything other than the Oxycise. Such as, jogging, bicycling, etc...Is Oxycise all that's needed?

I am wondering if I should incorporate other activities as well. I mean, I do some bicycling-but not on an everyday or every other day basis-just for fun once in a while.

I love how I feel after Oxycise. It just seems too easy (I feel hot + sweaty afterwards-but not as much as I do after a jog). That's why it makes me wonder.

HI Mellikat,
Welcome.
I have only done O! for the last 2 weeks and lost 20.75 inches. I still have a looooonnnggg way to go. But O! is all I did. Once swimming lessons are over at our pool then I will be swimming ( for fun) I love swimming laps, but I only do it for fun.

Hi Mellikat,
Here's how Jill has responded to similar questions from other Oxycise! students:

"If you ENJOY doing other activities in addition to Oxycise!, such as walking or aerobics class, by all means continue.

"But if you're going to the gym out of guilt, let go, and focus on Oxycise!"

Also:

The more "gusto" and energy and effort you put into your workouts, the more you'll get out of them.

Jill says to really BREATHE and really FLEX and tighten and WORK your muscles.

You can do Oxycise! on many "levels". But if you "crank up" your energy level, you'll get a more intense workout.

You can do this by tightening your abs more (but always relax during the inhale), and by working your muscles harder (flex more, stretch more, etc.) and also by adding ankle or wrist weights, or light hand-held weights to increase the intensity and weight-bearing effect.

Hope this helps!
Julie
