Hi,

I've just started working with Oxycise, and I enjoy the workout first thing in the morning. I'm turning 40 in a couple of weeks and have about 25lbs to lose.... eeek! What on earth happened to my twenties and the skinny kid I was? *smile*

Anyway, here is my question:

When you 'lift' prior to the three puffs, how long do you hold the 'lift' for, or more precisely, when do you relax, so you can take the next 'lift'?

I find that once I 'lift' I'm staying that way so that when I get to the next 'inhale then lift' I'm already 'lifted'. Do you relax your stomach muscles when you inhale or on the exhale?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Ramona

Hi Ramona! Welcome! big grin

Glad to have you here with us. Come join us daily on the D2L O! thread. We try to post as often as
we can so that we have a support system. There are
some great people on this board!

Ok, here is what I do about the breathing:
1. Breathe in, letting your diaphram and lungs fill with air (your stomach will go out).
2. Do the three sniffs in and at the same time
do the lift.
3. Hold the lift until the blow out and 3 puffs out are done. Then relax your stomach to get ready for the next breath in.

At first it is a little confusing, but you will get the hang of it. Just keep working on it. Good luck & hope to see you at D2L O!

Alicia smile
