Hello all, I am new here, so I beg for patience.

I just ordered O!. I had been doing BF off and on for years. Each time I re-start, I find that it is less and less effective. Even though I go through the "how to" again. I thought I read somewhere that BF might affect the metabolism. Has anyone else heard anything about that?

I am tired of being dicsouraged and looking forward to O!.

By the way, I love this forum!!! You all were heaven sent!!!

Eva

Hi Eva,

Welcome to o. I hope you will really enjoy it. It has been wonderful for me.

Sorry I don't know anything about BF, but did want to welcome you. Will look forward to your posting with us.

Have a blessed evening.

Hi Eva! Welcome to Oxycise! and the message board.

I don't know much about BF, either....but I do know that Oxycise! is wonderful! Hope you'll enjoy it as much as we all do.

Eva,

I did Body Flex before I found Oxy and I only ever kept gaining inches with BF, so needless to say I QUIT! and I found these wonderful girls here at Oxy who put on the right road to success, even though I am having a horrible slump right now but that is not due to Oxy that is just due to procrastination.

Good luck, I think you will enjoy Oxy more than BF.

Hey Eva! I did BF and LL before doing O!. I don't know if it slowed my metabolism any but I didn't like the idea of holding my breath (how does holding your breath increase oxygen to your body?). You don't hold your breath with O - and that's GOT to be better for your metabolism. Wink
Just thought I'd mention that it took me a while to switch from BF/LL to O because the breathing is so different. (I kept blowing out instead of breathing in and lost count of puffs/inhales and forgot what step I was on etc...) But now it's second nature. I just don't want anyone switching from BF/LL to get discouraged because of the different breathing pattern. Despite looks it's not more difficult (but I did have to break those old breathing patterns).
Now that I can do it, I like O the best. I think it makes more sense, I like the selection of DVD/videos better, I like the site and message board better, and I like the way I feel afterward better.
Hope this helps. - matygrl

Thank you Lin, I am like a kid on Christmas Eve. I got my e-mail saying that O has been shipped. So, how much longer does a watched pot take to boil??? Eek

Matygirl, I have been having the same thoughts. Plus, I guess the lack of results has also made me wonder.

I will certainly let you know how it goes.

Welcome Eva and anyone else who is new. I also am a newbee and can say that after just a few weeks of doing it 6 days a week at Level 1 I have lost some girth around waist, thighs and hips. I am losing some extra puffyness around my ankles and I think it is a combo of drinking more water and the L1. My abs are also starting to firm up. This is so simple to do that it is deceiving! I think a big key is to REALLY get into each breath with all you've got! Work it! and you will feel like you've worked out w/o all the aches and pain, etc. Have a gerat start when your tapes arrive and you will soon see results I'm sure- it is very exciting to see new people start like myself! Best, Cheryl

Cheryl...

I don't know if you're still on the Board, but THANK YOU for your weight loss progress report. I'm a very visual person. Knowing how long before I should expect to see results helps to keep me motivated.

Blessings,
Joyce
