Hello. I am 26 and a mom of two small children! I just found Oxycise in WomansWorld and became excited about it. I don't have that much weight to lose-under 10 lbs. but its time to go! I am nursing my 6 month old so I know I am holding a few pounds because of it. I heard about breathing techniques to lose weight awhile ago, but forgot about it until now! This almost seems too good to be true. Will I really lose weight and/inches quickly? Do I need to be on a diet? I just started a food log to make me more aware of how much junk food I eat! I ordered the 'O' intro package yesterday, so I should be starting on Monday! Nice to meet all of you!

Hi Luv, welcome to Oxycise! No, you don't have to diet to see results, but you should eat properly. I'm sure keeping a food log will help you eat right. It sure helped me once I started doing that.

Come join us in the D2L (determined to lose) thread each day. You'll get lots of support and encouragement there.

Hi! Welcome from me, too! You may not lose fast, but you will notice tightening and toning after just a few days.
It's been really important for me to keep a food log, too. Otherwise, I tend to conveniently overlook several calories!
Good luck!!!

SmileHi luv. Welcome from me too.

I don't think you're going to have to diet just watch what you eat. You probably are now anyway while you're nursing. You'll lose those ten pounds in no time with O! Just do it with lots of gusto.

See you on D2L.

Welcome to Oxycise!, Grammy! (that's what I wanted my granddaughter to call me, but instead she decided on Meme)

D2L is a daily thread that is located under the "support and accountability" section of the message board each day (usually just one weekend thread).

To start your own thread, click on "new" in the pulldown menu at the top then click on "discussion" then on whichever section you want the thread in. If you are already in a section (like Oxycise! Questions & Answers), it will automatically put your thread in that section. You have to be on the main message board page to get a choice. There. clear as mud?? lol.

Hi LuvMy2Babies,

You don't have to diet to lose weight, although obviously eating better will help. You will more than likely notice you're losing inches before losing weight which is normal. As you tone and build muscle, the muscle takes up less room but tends to make you gain weight. Strange, isn't it? An analogy I heard here once was that muscle versus fat is like popcorn: Unpopped popcorn is muscle and popped popcorn is fat. Same amount of popcorn but not the same amount of space.

Hope that helps and hope to see you around the D2L thread!
