Hey everybody! I just finished my O! for the day.

I was not looking forward to my weigh-in today, but it ended up being good afterall. I often "sneak" a step on the scales throughout the week and had been up a pound a couple of days. However, I was actually down a pound and a half this morning as well as a half inch. Yea! That just goes to show that our weight does fluctuate naturally by a pound or two. I know for myself it can even be due to eating one pickle too many! (I have trouble with water retention)

I got out my records from January 1st and I have gone down a total of 33 pounds and 17.5 inches (from 5 measuring places)! I'm really pleased with my results. I'm now lower than I was after the first year I Oxycised. Now my goal is to lose another 6-16 pounds. I'm afraid my body is going to start leveling out, though, and make things difficult.

My teenage daughter wants us to join our local Health Works this summer. I'm not sure what I plan to focus on there....strength training or just using their walking paths, etc. We have a pool at home, so I could always swim laps here. If I start building more muscle, I know the scales will go up, but I'll just then have to judge on inches and how my clothes look and feel. I'd definitely like to go down another dress size (at least!).

Okay....I've thought outloud long enough for one day. Wink Roll Eyes

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Hi...

I didn't do L1 yesterday...was gone all day. But, I am planning on doing it today. I did it 7 days in a row while dh was on vacation, so I am happy with that. I also ate rather sensibly, too. A lot more than I expected from myself, so, can't beat that. I'm really doing horribly on drinking my water, tho. I really have to work on that.

Tomorrow I'm going to my nephew's First Communion, so I won't post. Hopefully I'll get L1 in, but I'm not sure. Anyways, DH goes back to work and Meg goes back to school on Monday, and I'll get back to doing L1 and my walking tapes again. Looking forward to getting back on the saddle, actually.

Have a good rest of the weekend. See you Monday...

Kelly a big CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU. That is great. I have not O'd yet today but I plan on doing it. Lazy lazy rainy day here. I did do some extra O exercises yesterday and torpedo stretches etc but not the whole program again. I think I will wait until the week of May 9 to do a weigh in and formal measure up. Well I weigh in actually every week but there are 5 of us that all work together that have been doing an Oprah Book Camp contest for the past 12 weeks and so we have to weigh in and measure up for that to see who wins the contest. Anyway I just saw your great news and wanted to tell you how grand that is. Have a great weekend everyone!

Lin (I am actually Linda but I signed in as Lin b/c obviously Linda has been taken X number of times)

Just wanted to report back in that I did go and finish my L1 workout for today! At least now I don't feel so darn lazy on this rainy day.

Just finished my O! for the day, and also got a pleasant surprise. For my own motivational purposes, it helps me to mark off on a calendar the days I've O!ed so it's there in black and white - non-negotiable, and . . . I've done a week straight - no days off! Smile

oh, and congrats to Linda on 7 days straight! Doesn't it serve as such good motivation to have that behind you? like, I did it before - I can do it again!

Good Morning All!
Looks like it is going to be a Beautiful Sunday here today. All last week it was cold & rainy. So nice to see the sun shinning!

Kelly...Congratulations!!!! So happy for you! BTW. what happen to your avatar picture? I miss seeing your smiling face.Wink

Congratulations! to all the other loosers, also!

Well, my company is all gone & the house is pretty much back in shape. Had a good time. I can't say I ate a lot more, but what we did eat was fatting.Roll Eyes So back to eating right today. Also need to get in more water. Was doing that before they came, BUT... so hard to follow up on what you need to do when there is company. Seemed all I did was cook & do dishes & watch kids.

Susanna...have fun with your company.

I need to get busy. Have a Blessed Sunday.

Sunday is my day off from doing O! (unless I've missed a day during the week), but I thought I'd post and answer Ellen's question. I lost my website when we switched ISPs. So...there went my avatar picture, too! At some point I might use one of those free websites and set up a new one. I had my dogs' pics on my site before. However, one of my dogs is really sick right now so I don't think I can handle setting one up until that is resolved. We're caught in that dilemma of knowing when it's the right time to "release" him. Frown

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

Oh Kelly my thoughts and prayers are with you. Being in that dilemma is not fun. I was in that dilemma 7 years ago before I got my two corgi boys, but boy it really just seems like yesterday. Not a good scene. Take care

Hi O-buddies!

We're having lots of fun! It's great having all the kids home!!! Of course it's hard to be good all the time about eating because I had to make everybody's favorite something. Smile I'm trying to be careful though.

I didn't O last night because I fell over a box, Eek and hurt my right leg and knee. It feels lots better today though, so I should be able to do my O tonight.

Kelly, you're doing SOOO WELL!!! AWESOME!!! WONDERFUL!!! I hope you don't have any problem reaching your goal. Thinking of you and your sad situation with the dog.

Ellen, thanks for your wishes. It sounds like you had a nice time with your family, too.

Linda and Nicole, you're both off to a great start! Keep up the good work! Thanks for answering my questions, Nicole.

Hello to everyone else.
