Good morning everyone! My sore throat is a killer this time..didn't do an O! yesterday..it just starts me coughing!
Merritt..good luck with the tennis elbow! My foot's okay..still going through PT and wearing that awful boot. It's just a really bad case of tendonitis in a spot that takes a long time to heal! Blue Eyes..glad your dad came out of surgery okay! Terrie...the tapes are really just a matter of opinion...everyone has their own favorites. I'd suggest maybe getting one that targets an area you want to work on. The Level tapes are all good in my opinion, they just use different positions! Margie..congrats on the 6 pounds...that's certainly in the right direction! Have a great day all! Laura |

Good morning everyone. It's another nasty day out on the roads. I get a lot more extra breaths in that way.
Terrie, I agree with Laura that it really doesn't matter which level you choose, they are all great. I am partial to level 3. It works the right areas for me. The positions are comfortable and I really feel the burn. It's crazy at work lately. We are winding down to the sale of the cable systems. I am starting to get sad at the thought of not working with some of the people in the field that have really become great friends. It's kind of cool that they are feeling the same way. We actually tell each other how much we have meant to one another. This is big tough guys I am talking about. One manager told me that he has learned so much from me. That makes me feel good. Like I have made a difference in someone's life. I am still sad though Today was my level 3 and strength training day. I am laying off a lot of the work on my right arm to help it heal. Other than that, I am really working on my abs and legs. Thanks to Oxycise, my butt is in pretty good condition. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone! Merritt |

I posted earlier at the exact same time as Laura,I guess. So I'll post here too since this is where the thread is going. Hope everyone is doing ok!
I did L1 & 2 today but took it easy on my back. It is getting better slowly but surely. Hang in there at work Merrit. Laura, how is your foot? Have a good day all! Shelby |

Good morning! I did my O! this morning. I seem to be doing better since I started making my own routines up using various positions. I just try to make sure I still work all areas of my body.
Shelby - I'm glad your back seems to be getting better. I guess you just need to be careful about adding too much weight to your workouts. I can think of times I've taken too vigorous a breath during my workout and feeling like I pulled a muscle! Merritt - Will tomorrow be your last day with everyone at work? Are y'all planning any kind of party to say farewell? Take care of that elbow. I'm still having some trouble with mine since I hurt it building that patio earlier in the year. Margie - it's always so good to see your posts! Glad to hear you're down 6 pounds since the first. That's great for just 4 weeks! Rose and Wendy - Sorry to hear about both of your children having stuffy noses. I always felt so helpless when mine had colds as babies. I hated using that suction bulb (and they hated me using it!). Too bad they can't Oxycise....that helps keep my nose clear! Blue Eyes - I'm glad your Dad's surgery went well. You mentioned doing your O! in front of a mirror. Sometimes I'll do some breaths when I step out of the shower and it always amazes me to see my abdomen working with the breaths! Makes me feel like I'm really doing something! Terrie - I'll give my two cents on the videos. I'd vote for L3. All the tapes are great, but the Level tapes work everything and are the best tapes overall (imho). I rarely use (or use positions from) the B&TH tapes because I need more help in other areas. Susanna - I can't imagine the cold weather you're having! You're probably hungrier because your metabolism is in high gear keeping your body warm. Please don't take offense at the analogy, but I always have to feed my outside dogs more during the winter to help keep them warm. Speaking of dogs...didn't you say awhile back that you thought your dog was going to have puppies again? Did you keep one of the puppies from that last litter? Laura - I'm sorry you have such a bad sore throat. That is no fun! It sounds like you are resigned to waiting out your foot problems. Hopefully all the extra oxygen you get with Oxycise will speed up your recovery. I'm sure it would be nice to not have to wear that boot when it warms up again. On the topic of wisdom teeth....my kids had theirs taken out early for the same reason Shelby mentioned. We spent so much money getting their teeth straight and bites correct that we don't want anything to mess that up! Besides....the longer you wait to have it done, the greater the chances that the roots can get twisted around or whatever making it harder to extract them. My kids had it done a month ago today and you'd never know now that they had it done. My daughter's were all 4 what they called "boney impaction". My son only had one that way....another was just partially impacted and the other two were in soft tissue. That's why his was easier than hers (and cost less!). Okay...I've made a novel out of this! Sorry to go on for so long. I'll check back later to see what everyone else has to say. Have a good Thursday! Kelly |

And all you other heavy breathers! I'm off to do my double L1 with weights. I looked at the t-tapp website and tried some of the rear end,ab, and leg stretches--I feel it!
Still waiting for my tapes to arrive--hopefully this week. Things arrive slowly here, but I haven't had any problems with lost packages--so it should arrive eventually. Have a great Thursday! The weeks are flying by. Jennifer |

I've already done part of my oxycise for the day. I've been doing good with just splitting it up since I've got so much to do around the house. Gives me little energy spurts too which is great. Well, I didn't win my level 2 on ebay. Someone came in and put a max bid of 10 bucks and I decided it wasn't worth it to go higher. by the time I paid for the cost and shipping, I could get a brand new one when I order my new ones since shipping is in range!! I think I'll go for the level 2 and 3, then get the buns and thighs for my free one, then when I lose about 10 lbs. I'll reward myself with the abs. I figure you're working your abs automatically anyway so that ones probably not near as important as the others. does anyone know any details about ebay? One thing I'm curious about is if the seller can use a different name and actually bid against you to pay more? I'm sure there's rules that you can't but I just kind of wonder sometimes. And I also wonder if people just buy things to reauction them off.
Shelby-Hope your daughter does okay during the op. I know it's a big thing because when they were going to do mine I was going to have to take relaxers, then something else, plus whatever they give you to sedate you, then of course painkillers. Maybe since she's younger it won't be so bad. Atleast she'll just have couple of days of being uncomfortable and won't have to suffer when they come in. Man, I remember when mine came in and they hurt like crazy. I know why babies are so miserable when their teeth come in. Laura-Hope that sore throat goes away soon. That's the one cold symptom I can do without. I think I'd rather have a stomachache. Blue eyes-Hope your Dad gets better real soon. |

Margie-Congrats on the weight loss. Doesn't it feel sooo great!!!! I can't weight till the next five lbs. comes off!!!!
Merritt-Sorry you have to say bye to your work buddies. I know how you feel. When I moved from New Mexico to Georgia about five years ago I left the place I'd been working at for a long time. It was like leaving a whole other family. I really missed them. It was that "home away from home" kind of place. Well everybody, have a great day and thanks for all the input on the tapes. Now I've just got to order them. Guess I'll have to work on level 2 for while before I go to 3, but that's okay. atleast it will be right there when I'm ready. Wonder how long it takes for them to arrive? Oh well, my mail will get forwarded anyhow. Talk to everyone tomorrow!!!!! Terrie |

Hey Everyone--I haven't posted in a couple of days--and WOW--alot happens--if you don't keep up!
I have been doing my breathing--in fact--I did a double L1 this morning! My daughter was home sick with a soar throat for several days--now tonight we have High School Orientation for my oldest. Wanted to say--Congrats on those inches and pounds lost Terrie Kay-Blue Eyes-Wendy-and Margie! (hope I didn't miss anyone!) Also--hope the sick bay gals are doing better--Laura-Green-eyed cat Lady-Jennifer-and Tamie! And Blue Eyes--hope your dad is doing okay! MissyO--hang in there! Hello to Carol(cchapin1) and green-eyed cat lady-Welcome! Susanna--glad to hear someone else is tired after O! I had to have a half hour nap this am--after my double! Wendy and Rose--hope those babies are better! Tammy--are you thawed out yet? Merritt-Shelby and Kelly--looks like you're working out--as dilligently as ever! Be careful with your back Shelby--And Shelby and Kelly--I hear you --on that expense of braces and NOT wanted to blow it all--with the wisdom teeth coming in! I'm sure we'll be doing that in a couple of years! Well--I need to get lots of cleaning done--I promised myself if I laid down for a while--I would do it all when I woke up! At least I don't have to cook a big meal tonight--as we have Karate for one--then the orientation for the other--looks like soup and sandwiches! Oh yeah--I think it was Karen--who wanted feedback on eating programs. I have tried to follow Sugarbusters for the last 6 years. It allows good carbs--like sweet potatoes and whole grain breads and basmati rice/or wild rice. You just cut out processed foods and sugars. It really works for me. And I am never hungry--(although this baby seems to be!--LOL!) www.sugarbusters.com has a good support board-plus there are lots of newbie tips on it. Sorry this is so long--hope everyone has a great day! Julie |

You know what? I'm gonna start posting here every day.
Today I did L1 with weights and did my 2-mile walking/S.T. tape. I added another aspect to the 2-mile walk by adding overhead presses while I do my lunges, to get my triceps going. My biceps are developing well, but my triceps need major work. YIKES, I can feel it. I've started taking green tea extract in liquid form. I believe the dosage is 400 mg. Already I feel "warmer", like my body is constantly metabolizing more, even at rest. Have a good day, all. See ya tomorrow. Donna |

Oh dear! I took 2 nights off so I will definitely have to O the rest of the week! I just couldn't help it though; tummy was just too upset. I sympathize with those who are sick, those who have sick babies!
Yeah, Julie, this is a busy board these days! It's so much fun to read about everyone's lives and progress with O! I'm glad you came back today! Margie, congrats!!! You're doing great!! Kelly, I think you're right about the cold weather increasing my appetite. It hasn't been as cold today, and I haven't had as much trouble. Donna, I'm glad you decided to post here, too. Hi to everyone else. KOB! Susanna |
