Good morning O!wonderful friends!!
The sun is shining, the birds are singing, love is in the air - you can tell it's Springtime. I got up this morning and did my O! with gusto. I drank water and ate well yesterday. My DH and I took care of our grandchildren last night. I have a busy weekend ahead and want to make good choices with my food/drink/exercise. It's easy to "let down" during the weekends. Good Morning O'Pals,
Thanks Melinda and others who have posted very informative information on the site. When we feel healthy it is such a wonderful gift, and really worth he measures we need to take to achieve it. It seems that after following a healthy diet for a period of time that you can really feel the effects if you get off of it and go back to some of the not so healthy foods. Jeans, I don't think I'm going to make my 2 lbs. this week. Tomorrow is weigh-in day, but I'll be happy if I have even a small loss. I have not felt good this last week and had bad sinus plus NO energy. I have finally realized the reason is because I've been taking one of those small stool softner pills every night before bed, and I think they have been disturbing the process your body goes through to get the vitimins and minerals into the bloodstream. ANYWAY, last night I did not take one and already this morning I'm feeling better. I guess sometimes you need a brick to fall on you to understand whats going on. Happy Friday, O!pals,
I am finally feeling better today, thanks for asking Susanna. I didn't exercise at all Wednesday, but did yesterday and today, including my planned Oxycise. I'll be happy not to have gained this week with all the comfort eating I did. But, I'm not going to beat myself up about it. Just picking myself up and moving on. Happy weekend everyone. Happy TGIF
It feels like winter here again today! It is really cold and windy so we did not walk at the lake! I will miss my granddaughter's soccer game tonight because of the weather, too! Today is the 3rd week that I have been doing O! and measured this morning. I have lost an additional 2" making a total of 5 1/2 inches for the 3 weeks. It is great to look at my calendar page and see 3 weeks filled with stickers. We went to the mall and walked for an hour. I did O! and weights/exercise routine! I will need energy for this weekend because I will care for my grandson while his parents go out of town. It will be a busy weekend. Hope everyone has a great evening!! KOBAS gO! gO! gO! |

Congrats! KOBAS - you are an inspiration to all of us. Losing 5 1/2 inches is AWESOME!! Keep up the good work - I LOVE STICKERS!! I'm a visual person, too.

Howdy, O-pals!!!
I've got a nasty stomach flu, so I'm taking it easy for a few days. Unfortunately, it seems to be making it's way through the family. So far, only DH has escaped. Anyway, my eating's under control. Shari, I'm so glad you came back in here today. I was missing you, and I miss Lin, too! Lois, you're doing GREAT!!! Melinda, thanks for the info you posted. We have so much to learn, don't we? It's good though, that there's a lot of info available. Thanks for being here, ladies!!! I appreciate each one of you!!! |
