Aright, since my recent 3 week hiatus from Oxycise, I am bigger and heavier than I was on Sept 1. mad Suffice it to say, this has been quite a knock upside my head! I am not only committed to my goal of getting into a size 8, but I am also, as of today, FINISHED with the unhealthy way that I have been feeding myself. Yes! That means no more chocolate seashells, a reduction in the amount of Pepsi that I consume (at least until I can mange to cut it out all together), I will drink at least half my body-weight (in oz) of water a day, and no more stuffing myself at mealtimes! I'm NOT Cajun (but still LOVE to eat)! LOL LOL

OK, that said, I did L1 today, as well as the commuter routine. I am also considering some very light weight training for my arms, but don't want to try to do too much at once. smile

Kelly, Kathy, and Alicia, thanks, ladies, for looking out for me. I'm counting on you and the rest of the folks here to keep me going! big grin

Alicia, I know what you mean about sticking to the program and not goofing off. WE can do it! big grin

Kathy, I've decided to stick to L1 for awhile, too. It was the only one that I had when I first began O! and lost all of my weight originally, so I thought I'd stick to basics for awhile.

Kelly, thanks. smile Hubby is doing better, but will still be home until next week. After I measured today though, and got the shock of my life, I told him that if he couldn't spare me for 15 minutes a day, he was the most selfish person in the world. (He agreed that he could certainly spare me. ) LOL LOL

Sorry this is so long! Just had to vent a little bit.

Take care everyone, and KEEP BREATHIN'!

Good for you, Susan.

Being Cajun is just another excuse for loving to eat and not taking the time to plan healthier meals. So is my complaints about my husband hogging the TV. He would give it up for me to do my O. But it is easier to complain and make excuses than it is to take control of my problem. roll eyes There, that is honest (confession?) on a Sunday morning. I haven't done anything yet this morning. I am very good at procrastination. My biggest problem right now is all the Halloween candy that my DH has bought. I was going to wait until the last minute to buy so that I wouldn't be tempted to eat it. But he bought 100 Grand bars and I LOVE those things! I got up in the middle of the night and ate two! I need to STOP! madI seem to be starting over every single day. frown

Good morning Susan and Kathy and all to follow.

Getting ready to do L1 today. I pulled something in my left hip area. I think it was on L3 leg tuck reach forward. Pulling that left leg to the side & back must not have agreed with my muscles!
Guess I will have to midify it until I get a little more flexible! roll eyes

Got to get hot & heavy on the food plan next week. I want to be down to 250 when I go to my doctor Nov 18. Only have a month to do it in!

Keep on keepn' on everyone! cool

Hey y'all. Well, I can certainly relate to that "starting over every day" problem. I did not eat properly yesterday and don't really even feel guilty about it! (now that's sad...) I ate lots of candy at the festival last night (they provided you with a big bag of it with your bingo card). I don't know what to do to inspire myself (if looking in the mirror won't do it, I don't know what will!!!)
I'm really not down so I hate to sound like I'm complaining. I just need to get myself into gear and quit eating all the fried foods and junk that I eat.
Susan, Kathy, Alicia....it was good reading all your posts. I consider myself fortunate to have all you as friends on here!

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Kelly

Sunday is usually my day of rest unless I got to work, which I did tonight, so I did the commuter cd on the way. After watching Oprah's show I am going to work out with weights 4 days a week along with doing Level 1 daily.
