Hey everyone, I just did L1. Cough is better. That O!helps to kick it out.
2B, here's a lil kick for the cookies * now, hang in there, the holidays are almost over. 1 cave in doesn't do ya in! Smile The Peanut I babysit just brought me a huge box of chocolates so I'm on my way to a cave in....

Yes, Kelly the hunting vegetarian. She's a horse of a different color! And we love her so!

Susanna, how do you do all you do? If my kids are fed & clean I feel victorious! But making a jeep cake! Wow, I'd like to see it.

Juliann1, I measure once a week. If you are cinsistant & drink alot of water, you'll be surprised on how the inches will elt. I've lost better inch wise than pound wise, & that's what counts.

Goodmorning Shelby and all to follow:

Shelby I'm glad your cough is better. It's tough not feeling well when you have so much to do.
I've made a commitment to drink more water Kelly, that seems to be a big part of your wt. loss.
Susanna, congratulations w/31 years. Thats great. Many more.

Sharon, You've really done well thru the holidays. Go girl!
Lin, I'll start with stars on my calendar for the new year, except for Sundays. I also walk on the indoor track so I'm hoping for better results. I want to check out Vitamin World today but I'm on perscription medicines and I am pretty careful what I mix. I want to read labels.

I'm going to take my Daughter-in-law to the doctor today. She has to have a blood test. She's Pregnant with a baby girl.
Gotta run.

Good morning everyone.

Just finished L2. We are going on a fun trip today - down memory lane. We are going to Whidby Island, my daughter wants to go on a ferry ride, and we want to see where we used to live. I'm sure it's changed.

Susanna I'm sure your son enjoyed his jeep cake. That was quite a project!!

Shelby glad you're feeling better.

Juliann1, I also measure once a week. I just measure ribs, upper arms, waist and hips. I know others measure more areas. It's up to you. I should buy a scale. But I figure I would be on it constantly to see every fraction of a pound. Big Grin

Maree - have a great time with your DIL. It must be so exciting to know you will have a DGD(darling grand-daughter) grandsons are great, too.

Have a great day.

Sharon

PS Hi Kelly I see you're on board now too. Have a great day Smile

Good morning everyone! I did my O! this morning. Well, it was my turn to cave last night. After all my big talk about being strict all week so I could splurge this weekend... I couldn't resist when my teens suggested eating out Mexican food last night! Yeah, well...at least I got in all my water yesterday and I'm starting fresh again today. I really don't feel that bad about it.

I decided to take Susanna's advice and post on my blog about my hunting success this week. So... **WARNING** If you are offended by guns or hunting photos, you might not want to look at my blog right now!

Yep, Shelby, I tend to be a little different at times. It's nice to know I'm still loved. Smile Glad your cough is better! Watch out for those chocolates!! Eek

Those granddaughters can be fun, Maree! I enjoyed spending time with ours this past weekend.

Have fun today, Sharon! This is a great time of year to be nostalgic.

Julie...I "officially" weigh and measure weekly, but I often step on the scales throughout the week. I don't think I'm relly obsessive about it, just like to see how it naturally fluctuates up and down.

It was good seeing all the other posts yesterday, too! Hope everyone is making the most out of what's left of 2005!!

Hi all of my O buddies! Today is the first time in 2 weeks that I have had time to even read the posts. I had decided to take Christmas off in Oing not because I wanted to but I ended up having my daughter move in after she broke up with her husband. So we had a busy couple of weeks. She is moving into her own place Jan. 1 so I then plan to get back on track. Hopefully I can settle down and eat better as well! I will post again when I get started! KOB all - I am so impressed by how some of you are still doing the O through the holidays.

Hey Cheryl, it's great seeing you here today! Hope your DD gets things straight in her life. Our older DD has been going through a lot herself the last year. It can be so trying.

Look forward to having you post regularly again!

Hi everyone!

I haven't been on the board for a few days, but I have been doing my O. My eating hasn't quite gotten back to normal, but most of the goodies are gone now (to my hips, no doubt - LOL) Razz so I will be back on program very soon. Today was weigh in day at Weight Watchers - I didn't really want to go, but I had to face the music. I gained 1.8 pounds. Eek So, along with my other gains, instead of having lost 7 pounds, I now have only lost 3. But, I will get serious again with my eating and I will lose it. I am trying to not obsess.

Lin - WHOA!!! 6 pounds gone! Cool That is wonderful! Makes me want to buy that Hoodia Gordoni in a 55 gallon drum!

Sharon - Way to go! Keep up the good work. Hope you have a great time today going down memory lane.

Susanna - Congratulations to you and your DH for being married 31 years! That's great! By the way, how about a picture of that jeep cake? I'll bet it was something! I am going to start Jan 1st using the star on my calendar each day I do O. It really helped me before. It is nice to look at the calendar and see all those stars!

Susie - I am glad you are able to get back to doing some O. Even without the usual gusto, it is better than nothing. Hope you continue to feel better.

Kelly - A new rifle for Christmas? Cool! A few years ago, my DH bought a handgun to have for protection when we go camping (and at home). We both took the safety course and I beat him in the final range test! Big Grin LOL. I really enjoy target practice. By the way, how are things going with your goats? Any more attacks?

Juliann - We all had trouble getting the routine down when we started. You will get the hang of it. I had problems with clenching my teeth together when I smiled to do the inhale. I had to work on not doing that.

Shelby - I am glad to hear your cough is better

Cheryl - I am sorry to hear about your daughter's marriage breaking up. It is always difficult, but more so at this time of year.

Well, I have to go to the grocery store, so everyone take care & KOB!!!

Hi,
O! is done but I'm feeling so fat that I don't know I did it with the gusto I need to!

Shelby, Eek, chocolate, how are you doing?

Kelly, I'm so glad you posted your hunting picture on your blog. And, I'm glad you enjoyed Mexican last night - I have confidence that your eating won't snowball into the trouble zone!

Lin, 6 pounds! Good for you.

Susanna, YES! Those cookies were gone by Christmas afternoon! Like Alicia said, more than likely gone to my belly & hips! How's your supply of chocolate cookies?

Jennifer, good to see you. Hope all is going well.

SmileWoW it took forever to get through all the great posts. I think we're all doing great considering the treats that are all around us for weeks on end.

We had a great trip to TX. The grandkids are doing great. I loved on them every waking moment. We returned last night and I went to work with one eye open this morning. I did a part of a commuter this morning.

I tried to keep up with my O! but it was difficult. I put on about three pounds but oh well.

I think I will continue to use the stars on the calendar too. I am doing a great job drinking lots of water. It's a good habit to get in to.

We're going camping for the holiday. Camping in FL during the winter is the only good time to go. We have to take advantage of the nice cool weather when we can.

All of you have a safe and healthy new year and I will be back on Tuesday. Take care, be safe, KOB and DYW.

Hi O-buddies!

I'm just delighted to see so many of you here today!!! Thanks for sharing a bit of your life with us!!!

I'll see what I can do about a picture of the cake. It certainly wasn't a professional job, but it made the little guy happy. Shelby, I don't think I'm as busy as you are!

Our married kids came today, since they had an extra day before they head for VI with their next load in the truck. So...I had help with the chocolate cookies! Whew!! I overate today though. Frown

I need to go get my Os done before I'm too tired. I love the stars I have for Dec.!!! It's not as good as Nov., but pretty good anyway. My weight was up 2 pounds yesterday, but down again today.

Kelly, I just think your picture is great!

Jeanne, have a nice camping trip! It's snowing here today...so camping would be ever so cool!

I wonder if Melinka, Tammy, Merritt, Margie, Ellen,.....and lots of others still peek??? We miss you ladies!!!
