Hi Sheila and all to follow.

I took the day off work today and no O so far. Jerry thinks he has another blood clot in his leg. Still no luck finding our new dog's owners. A neighbor is pretty sure he saw the dog being dumped out of a car, so I think we are keeping him. We named him Baxter (joins Buddy, Bentley, and Beamer). I know it's probably not really a good time to add to the "family" since Jerry is out of work, but I feel that God is leading me to care for this animal to remind that I should always be happy. Baxter rarely stops wagging his tail.

I'll try and O later and will post then.

Shari

Hi, All!

I did my O! this morning and enjoyed a healthy fruit smoothie (all fruit) for breakfast and then a wonderful Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit for snack.

Some students in our College went to Starbucks and I had them buy me a skinny Decaf Hazelnut Latte. I haven't had coffee since last Saturday and I haven't had sugary sweet stuff since Sunday. When I drank the coffee, I was amazed at how incredibly sweet it was. The natural sweetness in fruit has been satisfying my "sweet tooth", which is GREAT! I couldn't even finish a small cup of this Hazelnut sweetened coffee. Next time I do this, I will drink it without any sweetened flavoring.

Live and learn... Razz

Hi, I almost talked myself into doing "O" yesterday.Frown Have started watching what I eat. So that is 1 step forward.

Kelly...Thanks for the kind words about the cakes. I don't think I do that great, but...the grands really enjoy them. I am self-taught & limted on what I can do. Enjoy your DD.

Princess...Welcome to "O". Watch what you eat, drink your water (DYW), do "O" faithfully & I'm sure you will see results soon.

Shari...Congrats on the new "member" to your family. Hope you DH is better soon.

Need to go put dishes in the dish washer. Maybe I can do some "O" breathes as I do it. Then it will be time to get ready for work. Getting 3 grands after work to send the night. Their mommies are going yard selling real early tomorrow morning.

Hi everyone and thanks for the support.

Everyone is doing a great job. I love having daily bible verses to refer to.

I found some time to color my hair this afternoon (first time in about 9 months, so it was really gray). I did a combination of sitting and standing O moves while I was waiting for the color to process.

I scheduled an appointment to get Baxter established with our vet tomorrow. My other boys are getting groomed (also at the vet's), so I thought it would be a good time to bring him in. Since they will be gone most of the day, that will give Jerry a chance for some quiet rest and keeping his leg elevated. He prayed and is able to bear a little weight and fortunately he wasn't admitted to the hospital (we're going to try increasing aspirin to see if that helps). This is his third clot in six years.

Thanks again for your support. I'll keep you updated on Jerry.

Hey y'all! Just a quick post to check in. I got my O! done in bits and pieces today. Water has been so-so and my eating has been horrible. I promise I'll get back on track after DD heads back to college. We got her photos deveoped today from her trip to WA and she had some really nice ones. I especially liked a couple she took at Cape Flattery.

Shari, prayers for Jerry.... keep us posted on his condition! Oh, and I'm glad you kept Baxter! That's how we've ended up with several of our pets.

Hi All,
I want to say thank you for all the words of encouragement. I did go jogging yesterday and could tell a difference in my lung capacity so that is good. Smile
Shari, you are a woman after my own heart by saving and keeping Baxter!
Ellen, thank you for the tips!
I am off to do my O for the night.

Hello O-buddies!

I didn't O today, and don't know if I will, but I wanted to check in and say hi. Smile

Shari, I hope Jerry is feeling better tonight. Thanks for sharing.

Lin, are you doing okay? How's Lenny?

Jeans, where are you today? Wink Do you think you just play hooky???

Kelly, enjoy your DD!

Does anyone else enjoy shopping on Ebay? I've been finding some wonderful stuff that's not available anywhere else, or at least not in our little corner of SD! It's so much fun!!! I found a Farberware perculator that DH wanted. Smile

Bedtime here.
