Hello everyone. Hiddy Ho...I get to start out the group.

Well, my hip woke me from the pain I'm in from not doing my back exercises and stressing it from the client I'm working with currently. I do Senior in-home care and generally don't accept assignments that involve transport needs but this client declined after I started the job and I haven't taken myself off the job yet; I keep thinking maybe this leg weakness will pass and anyway they only have another couple weeks services left. She gets her last radiation treatment today so maybe Monday she will be stronger.

I took a few O breaths as I laid in bed before deciding to get up and take tylenol but finally gave in and got up and took it. I miss saying hello to you all and reading the posts (I've been too stressed to even read the posts) but I decided that I would 'qualify myself' to chime in today while waiting for the tylenol to kick in since I did a few breaths...and it just tickled me to be the first one. I'm not an early bird by any means!

I appreciate the kindness of those who have/do greet(ed) me (I appreciate in advance since I probably will go silent again during this hecktic time) and join in the prayers for those dealing with health issues (their own or any D_ 's including DDogs...Dear Dogs...not to be confused with DDaughters!)

Warmly, Wendy

p.s. I'm so jealous of your new dog guardianship Shari. Last week I got a letter of prescription from my doctor allowing me to have a 'companion animal' in my no pet apartment but haven't gotten up the nerve to present it to my landlord yet...I have many LL issues...and I'm afraid and quite certain he will raise my rent "because the taxes have gone up" in retrobution. He's very opposed to me getting any animal other than the fish...not very petable/comforting...and has been complaining at least a year about his taxes having gone up several times though he hasn't raised my rent. I think he has trying to hold back on doing so but think he will stop holding back if I get an animal other than fish. Plus, my work $/schedule is unsteady right now and I want to wait till they are more steady before taking on the care of a new companion.

p.p.s. on the positive side I've finally figured out the 'notification' thing. Even though I have my overall notification set to daily digest I have to indicate 'off' each time I post or I will get individual posts.

Good Morning Wendy, and those to follow:

Did part of L2 this morning before work. Was running late so I didn't get the whole session done. Will do it later today or this evening with Mom.

Water and eating was good yesterday. Hope to do well today.

Wendy, hope your hip gets better quickly.

Have a wonderful Friday! KOB and smiling.

Hi Wendy, Sheila, and all to follow.

Wendy, I hope your hip pain resolves soon. I'll keep you in my prayers regarding your pain, your work situation, and your landlord situation. I hope it all works out well.

Sheila, good job on the O.

I did L1 today. It's beautiful and almost 60 here in Indiana.

Jerry is feeling a little bit better today. The pain is slightly less. He's keeping his leg elevated most of the time, which is great.

Baxter is doing well. He got a physical today and has to take some medication for whipworms but it is completely treatable, and he is otherwise very healthy. They estimate he is about 3. The groomer groomed him for free because we rescued him. I was so moved I wanted to cry. My other dogs are slowly getting more used to Baxter.

Have a great evening everyone.

Shari
