Hi everyone!

Had a bum day yesterday. I got home from work and felt fat and frumpy. I still did my repetitions of O! and tried to do them with great gusto. That worked, I feel my stomach muscles and my mood lifted. It's almost that time of the month and being bloated doesn't do wonders for my mood.

Susanna, could you send me an outline of the ChangeOne plan? Just like everyone I need to make some improvements to my diet, I just don't know where to start.

Still waiting for my tapes to get here. Does anyone know how long it takes to send stuff across the ocean? When I check my order status it just says received on 01/22/04. Does it show when it's shipped?

Hope all of you that are feeling sick will get better real soon.

Weekend is coming. Yea!!!

Big Grin brigitte

Good morning Brigitte, Shelby, Laura, and Tama! Wow, we have people all over... it's nice to know that if I ever get a chance to travel like I want I have contacts all over the world to get tips from. Big Grin

Well I am still keeping at it. This coming Monday will be 4 weeks I've done a whole workout about 5 times a week. This seems to be a tolerable amount for me that I can be sure I'll stick to. I am also doing well with my eating. It's been over a week since the last time I measured, but my weight is the same, so I'm afraid to. Maybe I'll just measure every two weeks. Besides, it's my TOM, too... I never used to think that changed my weight or measurements, but I don't want to take any chances! Smile I was hoping to have some noticable change by Valentine's. Frown Oh well, I still have a chance to get something done by my birthday. (April 2nd)

Doing well today. Yesterday I did Buns and Thighs 1 and 2 commuters. Today I feel a bit of soreness in the buns. Just enough to say I did it right, not too much to keep me from doing it again.

Brigitte, I'm across the ocean in a different direction, and not as far. But it took about 2 weeks to get here and about 2 weeks before I got them out of customs. When I ordered I ordered by phone, and they told me they would ship the same day. I hope yours got shipped the same day!

Good to see you, Shelby, Laura, Tama, and Rose! Sympathy to all you TOMers and upset tummies!

We're off to the beach today. I'm down a size- I had tried to alter my bathing suit without much success- so I bought a new one the next size down. And a new pair of jeans! Even the new ones are a little loose. Yesterday I talked to someone back home in Utah. It was 0 degrees F at the airport. YUCK!!!!!!! I'm so glad I'm here right now--they call it the land of year round spring. Come see me sometime!

Good morning everyone. I feel pretty great today. I did a LS 2 mile walk this morning and a commuter routine. My jeans are so big that I am almost embarrassed to wear them. Notice I said almost....I decided to wait to buy any clothes so, I do with what I have. It helps me to realize how far I have come though.

Tammy, I feel like I have to know the rest of the story. It actually bothers me to hear how that woman treats you. I would have been long gone by now. I just have to know how the discussion was left. Did she offer up that she would make changes? I was waiting for the part about how you told her to take that job and shove it. Maybe that will come today. Just keep doing your Oxycise so you can release the pent up stress.

I am not too worried about my dh getting used to cleaning or cooking. I have very high standards for what is acceptable and he could never meet them (I would make sure of that). I think he would miss his toys and amenities if he didn't work. We couldn't afford his cell phone, high speed internet access, truck, cable TV....get my drift? I didn't get a degree in Psychology for nothing Big Grin.

Hey Jennifer, I would love to take you up on that trip to Guadamala. Year around spring sounds fantastic to me! Of course, here I am, sitting in 20 degree weather with 5 feet of snow surrounding me Roll Eyes.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a terrific and romantic Valentine's Day!

Happy Friday!

Just popping in to say Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow. I haven't done "O" all week. First part of the week I was busy with Grand-children & now I have a sinus thing going with a bad headache. I know from the past that I won't be able to do any of the positions, because it will make me real light headed & make the headache worse. I can't even hardly bend over without getting light headed. Frown

I've invited the 4 grand-daughters over tonight for a Valentine Party. So I'm only going to do what I have to to get ready for that & rest so Mamaw won't be grumpy when they are here. Big Grin I gave them a party last year & they really enjoyed it. It helps with the winter blues & it gives their parents a chance to go eat out or whatever without them.

Have a nice weekend. Hopefully I will be over this by Monday so I can get back at it.

For Valentines Day this year we are invited to a single lady's home to see her new apt! Not romantic but she is such a sweetie that I'm glad we'll be with her since she doesn't have a sweetie!

So for us Dan & I decided to go shopping at the open market. Not romantic either with all the pushing & shoving tht goes on there but there are great deals on clothes so for 20€ Dan got me a sweater set & 2 cardigans and I got him one of those small body bags & a long sleeved t-shirt. We tend to be more practical than romantic I guess. Smile

It is amazing to me that I can actually buy clothes in the market now since the vendors have all the regular sizes & not many large ones so that means that I have LOST!

Just had to share the good news!

Good morning to ALL of you!! I did my routine this morning. I switched out and did some positions I don't usually do.

I sure hope all of you who are feeling poorly get better soon. Donna...how are you today?

I'm STILL waiting on my TOM, so I have no idea what my weigh-in will be like tomorrow. I've been using that as my excuse for the past three weeks! Roll Eyes I'm starting to once again get my hopes up that maybe I WON'T start and will finally be through with all that! Yeah, well...

Tammy, I'm also waiting to hear the "rest of the story".

All you snowbound people would laugh to hear how excited my kids get over even a chance of snow in our forecast (which we actually have for tomorrow night). I wouldn't mind snow, but we unfortunatley get ice instead most of the time. Not fun! I know Tammy can relate to that!

Okay....got lots on my agenda today so I need to get busy. Some of it's online work, so I'm sure I'll check back in from time to time.

Have a great weekend and Valentine's Day!

Yea on the new clothes!!! Isn't it great being able to find stuff that fits?

We tend to be practical rather than romantic, too. We both prefer it that way. My dh loves to tell his friends how he gave me a shotgun for our first anniversary. Actually, it's been one of my favorite gifts he's ever given me.

Good Morning, Everyone! I hope everyone has a great day. Cindy in CA, I asked you this yesterday, but it was the end of the posts so you probably didn't see it. Are you doing the South Beach Diet? And what is everyone else doing to eat right? Well, I'm just going to finish my breakfast and go do my commuter tape. I plan to start L1 on monday. Take Care, fatigued

Hello...

Well, I ended up doing L1 with no weights yesterday out of pure guilt, and I basically collapsed. Not good. I'm such an idiot. I was in bed from, like, 2:30 pm on until this morning. AND, if that's not enough, because I slept in the wrong position my back went out on me, so I'm in severe pain and can barely move. Plus, my husband and I had a huge fight at midnight, and we're still not talking.
Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown Frown

So, that's it for me, I guess. I don't know if I'll O! today, I'll try. Here's hoping for a better day. I guess it's because it's Friday the 13th? Yeah, right. Roll Eyes

Have a nice V-day and weekend all. I'll check in tomorrow.

Happy Friday the 13th Everyone!

I said I was going to O! yesterday--but I actually didn't get it done. I am going to try to get back on track today.

Thank you for all the well-wishes concerning my bladder/staff infection. I had it re-tested yesterday at the doctor's office--and it has cleared up!

I also got my ultrasound results/ and quad screen results. I have to have another in depth ultrasound done on the baby's heart. There were some calcium deposits, which can be an indicator of Down's Sydrome. My doctor has had 6 such cases this month and none were Down's. She thinks their ultrasound machine is so advanced now--it is showing these deposits--where as the old machine wasn't so detailed. I am praying that is the case. All of my other scans and blood tests came back excellent. In fact, for women age 42, the risks are usually 1/49 for Downs--and mine came back at 1/551. But--if there is a bigger plan--for this baby and me--then--that is fine too. The little "Bugger" is kicking like crazy!

Fatigued--I do Sugarbusters. It's been around a long time. www.sugarbusters.com I never feel deprived on it. It's basically cutting out refined sugars/(low sugar)--and eating whole grains/no white potatoes/white rice/etc...(South Beach is very similar) The website has great support and recipes. A nutritionist evaluated my diet and said it was excellent--(except for needing to increase my cals to around 2400 while pregnant.) I don't count cals--just estimate.

ThatoneChick/Betsy--where are you from in Illinois. I was born and raised in Bloomington--home of State Farm and Beer Nuts--lol!

Happy Valentine's Day--all of my SWEET cyber friends! Have a great weekend!

Julie

The open market sounds like fun, but i don't think i would know how to shop at one Big Grin
Hope every one has a great weekend, and the weather will be fit to do a few things. Did L1 & 2 today and run errands. No walking,or Abs today Frown but tomorrow is another day. and not the 13th.
