Good morning, all you heavy breathers! I love to read your posts early. You motivate me, then I go do my breaths. I kind of get it backwards.
Shelby and Laura, I'm so glad you're both feeling better. Tammy, I'm going to do that sticker thing on the calendar. My kids will be jealous. Maybe they'll start O!ing too! I didn't know you were the one who came up with the name for Easy Does It! It really is a perfect name. School starts again today- But I know I don't get much sympathy since most of you went back last week. KOB! Jennifer |

Good morning everyone. Shelby, I am glad you are feeling better. Back pain is awful!
Kelly, you and I started Oxycise about the same time and I also remember all of the message board formats. The chat rooms they used to have were rarely used and I am sure that is why they didn't include one this time. Knowing this group, we would all be typing at the same time I got some extra exercising in this weekend. I just felt good and wanted to tone up. Dan was shocked when I just hit the floor and started the strength training. Then, I just kept going with O! I weighed this morning and lost another 1.5 lbs. I have been stalled a bit so, I was happy to see the loss. Today, I did strength training and level 3 along with a commuter routine on the way to work. It was real slippery so, I may have held those breaths longer than normal. I know I was doing a lot of bun squeezing. I hope you all have a wonderful Monday! Merritt |

Shelby, I'm glad your back is better. I'm jealous of your rain! Laura, good to hear you're on the mend, too! Congrats on the loss, Merritt! You've been doing so well the past few months....both with your eating AND with your exercise. Keep it up! Good to see Tammy and Jennifer here, too. You know...we are such a congenial group it really is a shame we don't have a real-time chat room to visit in. I wonder if we should ask Julie if that is an option with the host of this board? Hi All you Heavy Breathers!
I just finished L1 this afternoon. It's nearly 1pm here in sunny Colorado. Merritt--Congrats on the weight loss! WOW! You are really doing well! I hope everyone is feeling better--seems like we've had a lot of "owies" lately--backs, knees, sinuses, etcetera! I also wondered if anyone else had Yahoo Messenger. I have it--and you can actually talk if you have microphone capabilities. I use to talk with a friend of mine in Australia. It made me feel like I was finally breaking even with the phone company! LOL! Anyway--I was just thinking--we could try a private Yahoo Room for Shelby's party--or for anytime. If we all knew our Yahoo names--I think that would be pretty fun. I put in my 15 minutes of L1 O today! The burning in my nose is gone! I guess I just had to get used to REAL breathing!

Shelby and Laura, I'm glad you're both feeling better. Tammy, I should to the star thing, too. Alicia used to do that. Does anyone ever hear from her? Merritt, congrats on the 1.5 pounds lost! Kelly, a half inch 2 places is great! I'm happy for you! Lisa, 2 inches!!! Woohoo!!! Jennifer, I share your distress about being nearly flat chested! Wendy, we all go back up sometimes. It's just all part of our bodies adjusting, the way I understand it. However...I know how you feel! Tamie, I think there's a variety of ways to measure, but most of us count measuring at bust, waist, hips and one thigh. I've wished I would have kept track of my upper arm measurement and maybe the calf of my leg, as well...but I didn't...and I sure don't want to go back to see what they might have been!!! Paula, I'm just 3 pounds from my goal, and Oxycise is the main exercise I've used. OxyciseGal, it sounds like you're doing okay. This Yahoo private chat room sounds fun to me. We'll have to figure out a time that will be sort of workable, I suppose, since we all live in different time zones. This could be funny! I didn't O yesterday. We went out for Pizza with some of our friends. |

I finished L1, and went to Curves tonight.
I have a tip for anyone interested...I have found that while playing the video if I keep my eye's shut while Im doing the breathing I can do it way more intense. Wow, great work to all the inch looser's today! Tamie, I measure my upper abs, 1 inch below my belly button, both upper arms, hips, both thighs, and my bust. But I don't count my bust in my total, because Im still nursing. Wendy 197/192/155 |

Well I finally got to my O. I've had a busy day and just got time to myself.
I have a question for any one or every one.Some one told me that you should always workout at the same time. If you do it's better for your body and you also see better results. I was wondering if any knows the truth or if it really makes a difference. Any info would be nice. Thanks for the support this really is the best support I've found. Lisa : |

I'm finally reporting...after lunch this time. I did my O! L1 and thought I'd hit the eliptical trainer. I wacked my shin so hard as I attempted to get on I had to sit for 5 or so minutes. Youch! THEN to top it off, as I got going on it, the bolt fell off and the entire pedal crashed to the floor and my knee almost gave out! Is that a sign??? I gave up and worked out my legs on the Total Gym. My shin still hurts!
I have always wanted to try belly dancing Tammy!! Let me know how you like it. Merritt, I was hoping the ring was yours! Thank goodness! Since this is a thrill thing for the creep who took it, what is going to happen to him? Surely they can't just let him go! Keep up the great work everyone! You're all an inspiration to me. Which level has the belly dance? sounds interesting, i am on level one that i started on Jan 1.Tomorrow I start the chair reps. I love doing all the reps but i do have my favorites already. I exercise in front of a mirror so i can see that parts are moving as they should. This way i feel i am getting a workout thou i have not lost inches as of yet i have lost 8 lbs. and thats a good start. Love to hear from anyone on the belly dancing etc. bye for now.have to try to get some rest so i can keep up my strength. I exercise when i get up and before i go to bed,and try to walk 4 miles in the morning when weather permits. Have a great day today. |

Sorry for any confusion... none of the Oxycise tapes contain bellydance moves!! I'm doing bellydance workouts here and there in addition to Oxycise!
