Good morning! I did my O! this morning before DD and I did our walk/kick video.

I was bad yesterday with my eating! My teens and I left right after church to go out of town and do a little back to school shopping (we go to an early service..8:30). We ate lunch at Olive Garden. I didn't feel too bad since I really didn't go overboard. On the way home I treated myself to a cookie from the mall and a sour slush from Sonic (small). However....when we got home, DH was really hungry and suggested we eat supper at our favorite Mexican restaurant. So I had another big meal!! Eek
Roll Eyes I definitely overate for the day! Today's a new day, though, and I'll get right back into my routine.

Belated Happy birthday from me, too, Janice!!! Good for you for getting your O! in that day! Smile

The periscopes sound fun, Ellen. Glad you had such a good time. Glad you got that rain, too! We had a little storm blow through last night, but I haven't looked to see how much (little) rain we got yet.

What kind of gun did your guys get Susanna? I love shooting skeet. We did a little of that when my friend from Cincinnati was visiting this summer. I don't think her kids had ever done that before (city kids Smile )

Congrats on your losses, Brigitte! That ought to inspire you to do even more reps!!

My kids start back to school on Friday so this will be a busy week. DD plans to work full time through Thursday. Then she'll continue working at least 17 hours a week during school. I hope her boss realizes what a gem he has in her!

I finally got my vacuum cleaner back on Friday afternoon, so I have a very dirty house to vacuum today! Also have an appointment to get a haircut later this morning. I'd better get busy making breakfast and packing DD's lunch!

Hope to see lots of folks posting this week!!

SmileGood afternoon Kelly and hopefully there will be more on board than just us Big Grin

I'm back from a wonderful week with grandkids. You know how old you are when you spend lots of time with them! They have more energy than I can ever remember having! Wink

I'm still trying to catch up on the posts. It will take a few days. I did my commuter on the way to work. I didn't get much O! in while I had company but I'll make up for it now.

I'll check in later after I read all the past posts.

Good Afternoon -
Wow! Where is everyone?
Well, I did a commuter this a.m. - did not get in any extra breaths or even a commuter over the weekend - no excuse for that! I really do need to start doing the tapes and get some good stretching in...
Janice, I'll join the group in wishing you a belated very Happy Birthday!
Congrats to you, Brigitte, on your "minus" status.
Ellen, loved the pics of your grands - they are very lucky (and so are their parents!).
Kelly, congrats on your negatives too. Know what you mean about maintenance - that is the hard part. But, YOU KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR A SWIFT KICK Wink! (Only if needed, of course!)
Susanna & Kelly, our weather has been so beautiful that I've been thinking about you two and how lucky you are. Hope you're having some of this so you can do your chores and enjoy being outside.
Also have to give you a quick update on Mom. We spent basically all Sat. in ER - they needed to do CT scan & results needed to be sent to a hosp in the Twin Cities so we waited (&waited) then they needed MORE! But, good news, nothing was broken - just badly bruised so very painful. But, unfortunately, this did take a little more out of her. But, after all that, we still took her out for dinner with some of her "old group". 4 from 81 to 89 yrs, canes, wheelchairs & hearing problems - What a trip & I wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world! Hey? What ya say? What was that? What did you have for dinner, Mom? I don't remember but I'm sure it was good! Big Grin

SmileWell, i finally finished over a weeks worth of posts. I'm proud of so many of you. Smile Smile You're all sticking with it and having such great results.

Susanna, I'm so sorry to read about your hens. It's just a very sad story. I hope you're doing better now. What's with the overeater's thing? You've had great results!

Kelly your animals are cute.

I need to get back into the swing of things again. I might have to go to TX to help out my DS and his wife for about a week. She is having problems with her pregnancy and will probably have the baby (boy) this week. The dr. told her to bring a bag with her to her next visit which is tomorrow. Her momma is there now and i'll go out to relieve her in a few weeks.

Sorry about the long post. I missed all of you and Susanna, thanks for writing to me. You could never chase anyone away!! Big Grin

Hello Buddies!

I feel loved. SmileThanks!

Kelly, the gun was a "cowboy" one this time, a .22 pistol. They have shotguns, too, and also like to skeet shoot. I really hope your dd's boss realizes what he's got, too!

Jeans, I'm glad you had so much fun with your grandkids! It's great to have you back, but we understand that when family needs ya, ya gotta go! I hope things all turn out well for your son and his wife.

2B, I'm sorry your mother is in so much pain. The dinner sounds like quite an experience! I love what you've shared!

This morning, my dh called and asked me to come to the dairy and pick him up, and we headed to Spearfish for some errands. Stopped at Subway, and did okay for calories...but then hit Dairy Queen...so...you know the rest of the story! I think I'll stick with a salad for supper! Actually, I'm really hungry for veggies, after not having many for lunch, just a few in the sandwich. Anyway, it was fun to have a spur-of-the-moment run to town with lunch included! Big Grin

I have been cleaning and sort of decorating the master bedroom. We still have many unhung pictures...because we were going to stay here for 2 months, but next month it will be 2 years! Isn't it funny how differently things work out than we think they will sometimes??? We enjoy living here though.

I plan to O with GUSTO!!

Good evening everyone,

Did L1 this morning before work. Felt good. It was nice and cool here in Colorado, in the 70's.

Thanksgiving dinner went off without a hitch this last Saturday. It was nice and cool and rained some while we had our dinner. Very nice though. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We had about 40 there. I ate too much of course, but have slacked off since then. I don't like being so full and eating that much every day. My sister and her husband are leaving to go home to Australia this Wednesday.

Hope everyone has a wonderful evening.

KOB and smiling.

Hi Everyone

Missed my O! on Saturday but have been really good with my eating and have done O! every other day. Been busy with flying. I do back of the clock flying which drains my energy but it's amazing how much better I feel doing O! than when I wasn't doing it.

Susanna, being a flight attendant is a very interesting job, but I think being a ranch wife would be just as interesting!! I grew up on a small property so miss it now that I am living in the suburbs...

bye

Hi y'all!

Thanks for the support, it does feel good to shrink even if it's just a little bit right now.
I'm up to 8 reps.
