Happy Day-Before-Halloween, Everybody!-

L2 for me this morning; I'm finally starting to feel like myself again, so thanks to all of you for the support and good thoughts.

And a warm and hearty welcome to our new and returning members; Wonderful to see all of you!

I treated myself to one of those nifty new exercise mats the site is selling; I ordered a sky blue, 1/4 inch thickness, so I'll let you all know what I think. I've been Oxycising on the oriental rug in my daughter's room, so this will be a nice change.

Helene how are you meds working out for you? I hope they are helping you start to feel less awful!

I am still on morhine so not making progress there, but I can whisper a few words now - I fall desparately exhausted if I do that tho I will stay silent for the next few days ( tongue surgery for those who don't know).

Hello everyone,
I got my O's and exercise in before I had to go to work this morning. My friend met me and we went out for dinner before I come home. I'm so blessed to have so many friends who spend time with me to help me through a really rough time.It is so hard to eat out and stay legal on my diet. but I'm not complaining.
Heleen-glad your finally feeling better and able to continue the program.
Nancybare-The surgery sounds so painful. Hope the pain lets up soon.
Kelly-You are so faithful to yourself and if I can say so, a good example for me.

Today, all in all was just kinda a kick in the butt for sure.

We had to put my Mom's 10 year old Corgi, Toby, who is my corgi's uncle over the Rainbow Bridge today.

He went in to get castrated b/c he was passing blood and had an enlarged prostate. When they tried to intubate him they could not get the catheter down. They were hitting a blood clot in his lung, so then they stopped and did an x-ray and sorry to say his whole chest cavity was full of cancer. So they called us and we all rushed right down to say our good-byes and to be with him. He had been losing more weight but he was a diabetic and we just thought it was from that still. Obviously, his weight loss was from the cancer.

I did my O last night, and my hips felt so much better afterwards. I going to do it with heat again tonight.

You know what stinks???? We have 4 puppies, and they are 3 weeks old already, but Smoky had them deep in a crawl space under the old milk parlor. We can't get close to them!!! WAH!!! We can see them with a flashlight, and hear their cute little noises, but that's all. Oh well....I know there are worse troubles!!

It's good to be back online again, and good to be back with my O-buddies!!!
