I did my X & O! most of the time since I last posted... also, Friday I went to the mall with my mom and my two little kids and I got a pretty good workout trying to keep track of everyone. razz I was so tired out from that that I just decided to take Saturday off from all forms of exercise and other physical activity. Then Sunday was my weigh and measure day. I was down about 2.5 lbs., and about 3" total measuring from several places. big grin I'm pretty happy with those results. Also, I wore my size 12 (loose fit) levis all day although they were a little tight. I'm sure I'll fit into them comfortably by our anniversary on November 9th! cool

Hello!

I haven't posted for a few days. I got sick (sore throat/stuffy head) a few days back and nearly stopped exercising -- bad excuse for bringing my fitness wagon to a screeching halt!! Hubby's parents came over for his birthday last weekend and ever since, I've blown off my decent eating habits! BLEEH! mad

This morning I woke up with a renewed sense of commitment. I watched a lot of CMT over the weekend and am so inspired to keep following my vocal dreams.... smile

This morning I did O! Level 3. cool Tonight will be Level 1 and then total body weight training. A month from today is Thanksgiving -- I can't believe how fast this year has gone by!!! My goal is to Oxycise EVERY SINGLE DAY for the rest of the year - regardless of any other workouts I add. My work will not be done unless I've done 1-2 O! workouts.

Good morning everyone!

First of all, congratulations to Susan and Rose on your successful weigh-ins over the weekend!! Way to go! big grin

Tammy, it's good to see you back. Like you, I feel a renewed commitment this morning. Despite the fact we're heading into the holidays, I'm determined to start cooking healthy again (we ate out all weekend!) and really try to control what I eat! I've done it before and I can do it again. It's just a matter of mind-set! It will be good for my daughter, too, who isn't fat at all (although her 15 year old brain tells her she is) but would like to lose 10 more pounds. She lost 10 this summer when she started exercising regularly.

I've been reading the thread on the breastfeeding with interest. My older daughter is still breastfeeding her baby (who will be 1 on Thanksgiving). She is one of those fortunate ones that the weight started dropping off with the breastfeeding (while she continued to eat like crazy!). She went into the hospital to give birth weighing 229 and now weighs around 135! All she's done is walk-videos. I've tried to interest her in Oxycise (for the energy and general well-being as much as anything), but neither of my girls want to do it. Hmmm...maybe I should try my son. Anyway, back to the breastfeeding.... she's going to wean her soon, I think, and I have a feeling she'll have trouble with her weight (she's about 5'3") when she does. Maybe I should encourage the Oxycise again at that point!

I did L2 this morning with gusto. I had a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and a tiny bit of orange juice to wash down my vitamins. I've had 16 oz of water so far, but am headed to the kitchen to drink another 16 oz before I begin cleaning house.

It's another dreary day, but the sun is due to make an appearance in the near future.

Good morning!!

I am ready to get off the computer and go do my O! I have had so much energy right after my routine (always L1) and it has been increasing with every day that passes. I now tend to have about 1 1/2 hours of bursting energy right after my workout, and that helps me to accomplish many things.

I'm a little down about a slowing of my business right now, but I'm putting it in God's hands. Please give me good thoughts.

Okay. I'm going now and doing my L1 and getting lots of chores done.

It's almost 11:30 pm, and I can't sleep cuz I'm feeling so rotten. I didn't O! today and my throat is hurting again, and my nose is too stuffed to breathe through. I need to O! After yesterday's wonderful results, I have to be a perfect idiot NOT to keep doing this. ('Course, it's not easy when you feel like I do.)

I'm going to go use a nasal spray to clear my nose and TRY to do L1 and then go to bed. My brain is so befuddled, I can hardly think of what I want to type here. Hopefully, this bug or whatever will get blown away soon!

Karen - I'm sure your business will pick up again. This is a hard time for alot of businesses, but you're putting it in the right hands! wink

Susan A - First of all, I'm so sorry you are sick again. Poor thing. I hate to have a stuffy nose!

I managed to get through L1 and even slept pretty darn well, afterwards, too. wink

Kelly, thanks for the congrats! Can I ask what kind of exercise did your daughter do when she lost the 10lbs? My own soon-to-be 11-year-old is overweight. I think she gets the genes from my DH's side of the family. She's the only one of all my kids that is overweight, and she's been that way from infanthood. She was always above the norm for babies the same age, and she's really self-concious about it. I've tried to get her to O!, but she can't seem to keep up with it. Should I make her do it for her own good? She doesn't over-eat, and sweets aren't a problem, 'cuz we don't usually keep them in the house. If I want something sweet, I have to make a special trip to get it...it helps most times. razz

Alicia, thanks, girlfriend! big grin I was pretty wowed myself. I think on top of the O! the fact that I drank all my water everyday really helped. Unfortunately, I haven't been drinking as much this week. I have such a hard time with it when I'm sick.

I'm still really under the weather which is bugging me, since I barely had a chance to enjoy being over the strep! I pray this will end soon. *ugh!*

Level 3 and Jorge Cruise days 1-3. Didn't get to do commuter tape on way to work, storming with heavy rain so needed to concentrate on my driving smile
