Happy Week-End!!!

Wow! It has been a LONG time since I started a thread. I had to figure it out again. Hope I did it right. This is my 2nd time being on here today & no one had started the thread so I took the plunge.

I did L2 this morning, plus a few more while I waited for my tape to rewind.

Tammy...This is your NUDGE!!!

Lois...Sorry about your family stressors. <<<HUGS>>>

Alex...I know what you mean about naps. I use to think my Mom & Dad were crazy for wanting to take up good time with a nap. Then when I got older & had the kids, OH! those naps where SO nice!! Still are! Wink But our kids thought we where CRAZY! Now they like naps, too!Big Grin & their kids think they are crazy!!Big GrinBig Grin

Have a GREAT & HEALTHY Week-End!!!

Hello Tammy and Ellen.

I walked this morning and did my O! I thought on the weekends I would try to do O! twice a day...just a thought, we'll see if I actually make it happen. Big Grin

Tammy, here's a nudge in case you still need it for later.

Alex so nice you came back to us. It's always fun reading your posts. I'm happy your hubby likes O! too.

I hope to see more posts today. I'll check back to let you know if I did another O! today.

Happy Saturday Cool

Thank you, Tammy, for your congrats and encouragement. Thank you, Ellen, for the HUGS. Last night, I posted late but I did O! and my exercise routine afterwards. We will go to the mall again and walk there like we did yesterday. The weather here is too windy, cold, and rainy for an outdoor walk. I'll post an update later. I'm thankful and glad to read your posts and receive encouragement for the day! Hope you all have a great Saturday!! Smile

EVENING UPDATE: It was snowing lightly most of the day. We went to the mall and walked 30+ minutes. It was difficult to walk fast with the crowd so we made up for it, I hope, by walking extra minutes. We treated our teenage grandson to dinner since his family is out of town. I was very pleased that I felt satisfied with only 1/2 of what they served me. The grilled Salmon, broccoli, 1/2 sm baked potato, iced unsweetened tea and one roll at Red Lobster was really a wonderful treat! Then we stopped at Barnes and Noble giving me a chance to walk around but also to treat our grandson to a new CD! lol I just finished O! plus my weights and exercise routine! I'm feeling really great at the moment! Just for the fun of it, I found my stats from 2002 when I first tried O! I lost 11 lbs, 9 inches in 7 weeks. I have kept that off and lost more since that time. I'm praying that I can do that again and more, IF I don't give up!! Roll Eyes Hope you all have a great night! Big Grin

RUTH: Smile Congratulations on your weight loss!!

Embe: Thank you for the congrats! Smile

Susanna: SmileThank you so much for your encouraging words. We travelled out to Scottsbluff last year on a road trip but when we arrived there, it turned out that there were no vacancies in any of the hotels/motels for 45 miles due to some big event in the area. LOL Hopefully, we will get back there again sometime. We live in the Omaha area! We recently travelled to Sioux Falls, SD. What part of the state do you live in?! Smile Goodnight, all!

Blessings to each of you this Saturday! I got up and did my O! first thing. I had a bridal shower at my house at 2:00, so I hit the floor running at an early hour.

It's 6:33pm, so I think I'll get out and walk - it's a beautiful, cool day. I had too much cake and such at the shower today - argh! I will eat a healthy salad tonight...my body will thank me. The rest of my family has gone to the watch the Texas Rangers play baseball. I'm having a quiet night alone.

Hey all,

I did my 2 mile walk/jog this morning and some core work and Oxy A&UB.

Congrats, Kobas, on seeing such great results.

Melinda, I hope you have a relaxing evening alone. Sounds good to me!

Happy breathing,

Jeans, did you do another O? Wink

I've done my O for the last 3 nights, and I can tell so much difference in the way my hips feel. I plan to do another workout for tonight.

Thank you ladies, for each post!!! I was so glad to see you here today. Big Grin

TAMMY! Smile I'm so happy to see you post here right now. I'm up bright and early, too! LOL I decided last night to change from the 2 lb weights to 3 lbs since I've been doing this for more than a week now. The first thing I did when I got out of bed this morning was take a few O! breaths and did my weight exercises! Eek lol Really wanting to see some serious results by the end of April. Smile Plan to walk at the mall again today! HAPPY SUNDAY! Will check back a little later!! Big Grin

SUNDAY EVENING UPDATE: It was great reading the posts here this weekend. SmileMISSING YOU, KELLY S. I just finished O!, my exercise routine, and exercises with the weights again. I definitely prefer doing these exercises in the morning, so I will try to get back on track with that tomorrow. I like doing a few exercises in the evening BUT NOT the whole routine. LOL We walked 30+ minutes at one mall, and then had to run an errand at a 2nd one which gave us a chance to walk there, too. We don't usually go to the mall except to walk and never on the weekend. I felt desperate to keep on track with my walking goals. We did a little bit of walking outside but gave up due to the cold wind. Eek

I hope everyone's having a great afternoon!

Well, it turns out that I am saving my O! for tonight. I did, however, walk 3 miles this morning (Leslie Sansone DVD with resistance cords/belt). I am feeling GREAT! Big Grin

Great to hear from you today, Lois/KOBAS! How exciting that you've moved up to 3lb weights! Your Red Lobster dinner sounds fabulous as well.... yum! Smile

EmBe, thanks again for including the Japanese proverb on your posts. I think it should be changed for me -- it should read "Fall a million times, get up a trillion" Big Grin or some such. Anyway, it's helping me keep things in perspective!

More later. Cool

Good Morning Everyone,

Just reading through the message boards and sounds like everyone is having a very busy weekend! You all are a very nice group of ladies.

Well, I was thinking I'd really like to get serious about getting this weight off as I'm just tired of going down 1, up 2, down 1, etc. Seems like I had previously just been spinning my wheels. I'm going to try to shoot for 2 pounds a week or around 10 pounds a month and try to really see some progress. I think I'm just at the point where I'm tired of just giving it a half hearted effort and want to give it more committment! I just hope my body will cooperate with what my mind wants to do! Eek

Well, it is starting to warm up here in the Valley of the Sun and I'm afraid it won't be long now until we have to turn on the A/C! Ouch, that always hurts the pocketbook!

Hope everyone continues having a good weekend and best wishes to all!
Bev

SmileWow, it's nice coming here and seeing so many posts!

I walked and O! again today but I didn't do two O! workouts like I wanted to. I'll still try.... Big Grin

Bev, good luck with the 2 pounds a week weight loss. I was just thinking about that today. I thought if I could lose 2 a week it might be doable. Should we give it the old college try?

I'll check in tomorrow. Have a nice evening everyone.

Hi Jeans,

I just found your post this morning, and sounds like a great plan to me! I'm up for it if you are. I just read the Dr. Oz book "You on a Diet", so with some of the idea's I learned from that book and with our great Oxycise breathing I'm very optimistic that we can succeed!

Thanks for your encouragement!
Bev Smile
