Hello Everyone,

I'm back from Mexico a little burned, but well rested. I have to say I did not miss a day of "O" for an entire month until yesterday (Father's Day). Not too bad for me.

Hope you all had a great week and success with "O"ing. I have to say that I ate like I was "on vacation". I got on the scale when I got back and wanted to cry just a little.

I haven't lost any weight, but I can say we were on the go, walking everywhere. I noticed that I was not winded - not tired - didn't need a nap. It felt great.

We are on our way to Israel in March and we are going to climb Mt. Sinai. CLIMB. God, I'm praying that this will help me make it the entire way. I don't want to ride a camel up there.

Good Success to Everyone,

AnitaMarye

Hey, does anyone have the L3 and L4 tapes? If so, how do you like them, and what body parts do they work on the best?

Hello...

I did L1 already and am going to do my 4-miler this afternoon. Saturday I did my 1-miler and Sunday I did about 40 minutes of gardening.

I had a horrendous past 2 weeks. One week before my TOM was to begin, I started having horrible cramps and bloating, and my breasts grew to breastfeeding size and were extremely sore. This lasted until my period began on Tuesday, and I was bedridden the whole week until Saturday. All I ate was comfort food, too. If this happens again next month I'm going to the doctor. I know that once a year each woman has a month like this...an anomaly of sorts. But, this was way beyond anything I have ever experienced. I'm wondering if I'm premenopausal at 38. God, help me, I hope not. But, I feel better now, so it's back onto the saddle again.

I am adding a day onto my workout routine, so will be working out an average of an hour a day, 6 days a week. On the 7th day I'm going to be doing gardening, which also burns a lot of calories. So, we'll see how that works out.

I finally, after 30 years, said goodbye to my last can of diet soda with Nutrasweet. I'm just going to be drinking water or stuff sweetened with Splenda. Lesser of two evils to be drinking Splenda, I figure. I know it's not perfect.

OK...I'm off...have a great day!

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. It was nice here...hot, but nice! I got a commuter in Saturday, but didn't get any O! in yesterday.

Kelly...we got some of that rain on Thursday, Friday and early Saturday...very fierce thunderstorms. Congrats on losing more...you're doing great!

Nancy...good to see you posting again!

Embe...everyone's right..you need to put the scales away for a while if you can...how you feel and how your clothes fit should be what matter!

Welcome back Anita Marye!

Donna...wow...sorry you've had such a bad time lately....glad you're feeling better!

Have a great day all!

Good morning O! Pals! I just finished my O! for the day.

AnitaMarye, I have all the regular tapes (as opposed to EDI) and L3 has always been one of my favorites. All the "level" tapes are good about working the entire body. Once you've mastered L1 and the basic breath, you can move on to any of the others. btw...glad you're back safe and sound. The next trip sounds fascinating! I've never heard of anyone taking a trip to climb Mt. Sinai!

Donna, I'm sorry about your rough couple of weeks. Hopefully it'll be easier next month. As for me, my body/cycle has never been the same since I had my last child at 30! (I'm 46 now) For awhile there my TOM was on a 25 (approx) day cycle....but right now it's been over 80 days! I'm hoping it's gone for good. Wink

Good to see you here this morning, Laura! Guess we'd better start bracing for a hot summer. I can already tell that this one is going to be worse than last summer.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Hi ladies,

I'm new here and was invited to join in here as well. I posted my intro under the forum for intros. Well, I did "O" today for the first time (well, I have dabbled with it before, but not seriously). I am amazed at just how good I felt after just doing it for 15 minutes. I discovered that it is easy to fit in at the same time as homeschooling my girls. I am looking forward to getting to the point where I feel good enough and my energy is high enough that I no longer need a nap to make it through the day. Anyway, I am off to take a nap now.

Leah

By the way, how long does it take to receive an order? My level 1 DVD was shipped out today!

Hello!

It's hot and humid here! I'm so thankful that there is a breeze, because otherwise I couldn't breath!

Good to see you all here today.

Donna, I was wondering about you. Sorry that you've had it so rough. I hope that never happens again.

Kelly, I'm glad you're still being a loser! Wink

LeahB, welcome from me, too! How many girls do you have? We homeschool also. Our two oldest boys are gone from home, but we still have 3 here; a ds who's a hs senior, a dd who's ready for 8th grade, and a ds who's ready for 2nd. We take the summer off, except for keeping our math "toned" up.

AnitaMarye, welcome back. Glad you had a nice time! I don't have the L3 and L4 tapes, so can't give you any info there.

EmBe, just being pregnant may be making a difference in your results, too. I really admire you for all the effort you're putting into having a healthy body! You're awesome!

Lin, I'm always glad when the scale doesn't go up, too! I hope you are feeling better.

I cleaned out the chicken coop on Sat., so I was too tuckered and sore to O! However, I did my workout last night, and plan to do it again tonight.

I did an L3EDI yesterday, but today I only got in about 1/2 of A&UB1. Busy trying to get ready to leave tomorrow morning. Will be back for the weekend so I'll check in then.

AnitaMarye, I have L3 although I haven't done it real often. It works all the body parts, like all of the levels seem to, but it does seem to me to focus more on the lower body. I like it. It's quite challenging for me.

Donna, I'm impressed by your ambitious workout schedule. Smile Glad you're feeling better.

Laura, Kelly, it's always so good to come here and see you both. You're so faithful!

LeahB, glad you found your way to this thread. Smile We homeschool our four children too. Needing a nap seems pretty reasonable to me. Wink

Susanna, thanks as always for being so encouraging.

Have a great week everyone and happy breathing,

EmBe Cool
