Yea! It's the weekend! I just completed my O! workout for the day. My weigh-in was quite good today....down another pound and a half and another inch. That makes 49 pounds since the beginning of the year!

It's supposed to be good and hot again today. We sure could use a nice, cooling rain. (for the moisture more than the cooling!) Yeah, well...typical August weather.

Jennifer - happy birthday to your daughter! Enjoy the family reunion!

Don't worry Susanna....we seldom have "fun" plans for the weekend. Sometimes that's what makes the WE fun!

Glad to have you posting here, Janice! It sounds like you're seeing (feeling) some benefits from your O!ing. Even during the time I was eating like crazy (and gaining back some of what I lost)...I always felt so much better when I did my O!. It really does help my mood. Despite the fact my abs are still soft on the outside...I can tell they are firmer deep down (and longing to become "six-packs" or whatever that expression is, lol).

2B - hope your dinner out tonight is fun. Eat sensibly, but still enjoy yourself.

Carol - Try not to look so far into the future. Just take things one day at a time. That way it won't seem quite so overwhelming. Remember, if you mess up one day...just start over. Good luck with the Radiant Recovery. That might be just the thing you've needed!

Leah - definitely measure yourself. There are times when the scale won't show any change (or maybe even go up due to fluctuations), but the tape measure will. You're right, too, about doing your O! with gusto. It definitely makes a difference!!! I have to remind myself all the time to concentrate and really breathe like I mean business!

Hi Alysia! Welcome to the board. I know there have been several discussion on here concerning thyroid. Probably the quickest way to find some of them is to click on the "find" pulldown menu. Type thyroid into the search and see what it brings up. Otherwise, you can just go through some of the thread topics in the general discussion or questions and answers and look for some. I bet you'll decide you want to do your O! again!

okay....need to get busy. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Good Morning "O" Pals!

Been doing some "O"ing. But I can't say I've done if everyday like I should.Mad

Nothing big planned for this WE here either. No b-days to celebrate or anything. Have 2 more coming up the end of the month.

Did have a FUN day Thursday. Church ladies, girls & I held an ALL day Scrap at one of the ladies house. Had 14 people to come & go that Scraped. Plus others that just came. We are going to start doing it the 1st Thurs. of every month. There are pics. on the web of this weeks.

Welcome to the new ones! Good to see others returning!

Kelly...WOW keep it up girl & you WILL be able to "SEE" those abs from the out side!

Carol...DH & I will be up your way Mon. He has to do a truck run up that way. Be our 1st run in a LONG time. He doesn't do them much any more. He works mostly in the office now. It is an over-nighter. So will be gone Mon & Tues.

Ya all have a Nice WE now ya hear!

Hi everyone,

First, thanks to all for their encouraging words. You gals are truly the wind beneath my wings! Smile

Alysia, I posted a response to you in the previous day's thread about the thyroid thingy.

It's a gorgeous day in CT today--low humidity and a lovely breeze. Can't wait to get out and weed my poor flower garden. Because of the heat and humidity, I've just been watering it and looking the other way. LOL

Well, I'm off to do my O! and I promise today I WILL NOT GRUMBLE through it!

Have a blessed day!

Good afternoon everyone,

Haven't done my O yet today. Plan on doing it this evening sometime. I'm sorry I'm still slack in doing my O. I did mow the lawn this morning since it was cloudy and cooler here in Colorado.

We have our fair and rodeo going on this weekend. I didn't go to the parade or free bbq, just stayed home and mowed. The lawn needed it pretty bad.

Congrats to all that have gotten rid of inches and pounds. Keep up the good work.

Welcome, Janice and Alysia and any others that might be new to the board. Hope you enjoy the daily talk.

I've been on vacation all last week so have been slack in doing my exercises. I did do water aerobics three days last week. It felt really good since it was 100 degrees or more those three days.

Hope you all have a great weekend. KOB and smiling.

hi again everyone, thanks for your post Janice.Just did O! I love the way my face glows when I am finished, my skin looks so healthy. I think the reason I stopped doing O! was because my life got so busy. My family and I moved state (I'm in Australia) I started a new job with crazy hours and I forgot about O!. The kg's started creeping up and combined with my underactive thyroid I couldn't get them off. Anyway i have started again (this is only my 2nd day) and I feel great.

Hello O-buddies!

We just got home from Rapid City. We made the huge mistake of going through Sturgis on the way down. FrownThe motorcycle rally is going on!!! We came home over gravel roads, to avoid it, and it took a long time, but it was much more pleasant! We hear them rumbling day and night anyway, but when you get to Sturgis, the noise is deafening, and the view is Eek Eek Eek

Janice, I've sure enjoyed reading your posts. Welcome to the board!!!

Alysia, welcome to you, too! It's so nice to have you with us!!!

It was 104 here today...and I didn't O yet. I still will, if I have the strength. Wink

Hi O Buddies,

Long time since I have been here. I am trying to get back on my O schedule here. I really do miss it and the inches are creeping back on.

I did do my L1 O today. I am going to try to get back on track everyday here.

Kelly - congrats to you and all others on your losses and O accomplishments. I just wish I had the time and dedication that you have for it Kelly.

Ellen - it was good to see you post again. Hope things are well with you.

Welcome to all the new O members posting. I hope to be posting daily and get to speak with everyone again.

Thanks

Lin
