Good morning everyone! I managed to get in a commuter yesterday while driving back and forth to therapy. We had torrential rain and thunderstorms last night. The electricity went off at some point, but thank goodness my clock radio has a back-up battery!

I did L2 this morning & walked to the open air market with Lydia & Zoé-Louise. I was down 1&1/2 kilos & 1&1/2 inches today. Around my fat knee I was down 1/2 in. Have a good day all! Shelby |

Taking the day off from my 2-mile walk, but going to do O! after I get off the computer. Been battling an awful headache for the past couple of days that just won't go away. Good job, Shelby!!! Until tomorrow... Donna |

Sorry about your headache, Donna. I hope you get rid of it soon! Congratulations on the losses, Shelby. That's great! Laura...I have a back-up battery in my clock/radio, too. It's saved me on more than one occassion. I've got an appointment with the eye doctor at 10:30, so I need to get going. I'll check back later to see who else has posted. hi everyone. i've been keeping up with posts and decided to come out of lurking again in hopes of getting a little motivation.
for some reason, i can make sure to check for new posts here every day but i can't(won't?) manage 15 minutes of breathing. it's like one minute i have my mind set to really succeed with the whole oxycise thing, but the next minute i'm like "eh, i'll do it later"... and then later never seems to come along. i think that just to get myself doing something, i'll start out doing just the 30 breathing reps 4 or 5 times a week and then i'll add the positions. i ordered a used "easy does it" level one tape on ebay.. i figured i'd give it a shot since i do sometimes have a hard time keeping up with the regular level one tape and my right knee hasn't be acting properly lately. so i guess the main reason for this post is to let someone else know my plans so maybe i'll stick to them better. thanks for letting me chime in. betsy. |

I hope every one has a great weekend. I have heard from several people on the pen pal list. I think the easy does it tapes should actually be the 1st ones we get and work from there. Happy Friday everyone!!! I actually made it here today. I have read the posts every day but there were two days that I wrote my post and the computer threw me over again darn it!! So I took a couple of days off. Plus I've had scatterbrain syndrome all week. TOM must be ready to make it's arrival. I haven't done ALL my O every day but bits and pieces. I did it all today though. I feel so much better now. I'm having a hard time eating right though. I'm eager to get my FFS book so that maybe it will inspire me to feed myself better. I can't help it, I love junk food!!!!! Why does everything that's bad for you have to taste so good!!! I love fruit and stuff too, it's hard to keep alot of it around though because it goes bad sooo fast. Bananas are black in about 3 or 4 days and I can't keep salad fresh no matter what I try!! And I looovvveee salad!!! Any suggestions????? I've tried those new glad stay fresh things or whatever but they don't seem to work all that great. Oh and I have another question that's totally off topic of the previous. Everyone was talking about the chest area yesterday or the day before-can't remember. I want to know if any of the tapes have positions that help firm up the chest area. I know it can be done because I've seen it on Maury or something. The girl actually had a bigger chest from working those pecs underneath and not from surgery. Everything kind of went South after I had my first baby and I tried to prevent it but it didn't work. Congrats to all the loosers. everyone is doing so well.
Shelby-at the rate you are going with doing 2 to 3 levels per day-you're going to melt away!!!! LOL Be careful!! Wish I had your motivation!! Kelly-What kind of fish are you going to put in your pond? I would love to have a house with a pond and put all kinds of beautiful goldfish in there but I know alot of people actually put fish they can actually fish out!! Like catfish and stuff. Betsy-I know how hard it is to stay motivated-even though it's sooo easy. just start small and do the best you can for now. it will get easier and better as you go. this board is what is helping me. When I get on here I want to be able to give my supporters a good report and that's what will keep me going. I love your little picture. How cute!!!!!! Blue Eyes-You're gonna melt too!!!LOL That's okay, that's what we all want isn't it? Guess that's it for today, hope everyone has a great weekend and my prayers go out to those who are feeling bad in any way and to all the babies I keep reading about. I don't know exactly what's going on but whatever it is it sounds scary!! I had to have one of those 3d ultrasounds with my last one because I had too much amniotic fluid and they thought she could have something wrong with her trachea or something like that. Everything turned out fine though but that ultrasound was sooo neat!! Technology is wonderful!!! Bye everyone!! Terrie |

Betsy, it's just so EASY to NOT do O for me, too. Melinka, I'm hoping everything will work out well for you and your family. Merritt, if you have a little time to read online, Dr. Val Farmer has some wonderful articles on his website. I think he gives really good advice. (www.valfarmer.com- Go to Sample Columns). Shelby, I can't believe how much I lost on top either...and I still have plenty of padding on hips and thighs. Rose, congrats on the 4 inches lost! WOW!!! Kelly, I'm glad you're getting rain! Tammy, you're doing great!!! I'm proud of you! Ellen, it's nice to see you now, too. Lana, are you the Lana in the newsletter this week? I have a friend by that name also, who just started O. Julie, thanks for asking about me. I've been doing pretty well with O this week, but eating has been a problem. I really don't get it. After being so careful for all these months you'd think it would be easy. Oh well, warmer weather MUST be coming, right? Then maybe I won't feel so much like hibernating in the kitchen! Howdy! Just a quick post before I hit the hay...
I am SO glad the weekend has arrived. This has been the longest week EVER for me! GRRRR! Bleeh! Just finished my Friday workout -- O! Buns/Thighs 1. I feel great! Yes it may possibly be me in the news letter so far i have not found anyone else in the group that has my name. It is kinda rare.
Hope everyone had a great weekend, and all the families are doing well. My dad is still not doing well, and weather is lousy in ohio. Have been working on L1 & L2 each day.
