Hi Everyone:

I managed to do L1 this morning, but it was rough going; I just started a course of antibiotics, and now my 6 year old is home sick with a tummy ache; Hopefully, he'll be feeling better for Halloween!

I appreciate all the well-wishes, and thanks for the good advice, Lin; I may just have to postpone that follow-up.

Hope everyone is having a great week,
Love,
Helene

Good morning everyone,

My day has started pretty well. I am having some stomach problems and having to watch my selection of food. It doesn't set well on my stomach but I did my exercise this morning. 30 min on bike and some O's as well. I'm still not able to get all the breathing just yet, but was improved over yesterday. I can't wait for all this to show on the scale and clothes, altho I just started yesterday. I get in a hurry.
Helene, I hope you feel better soon. It's tough being sick.

I'm going to church for dinner tonight and I didn't know how I would stay on my eating and eat there as the menu doesn't often account for special diets. I found out I could ask for a salad and bring my own meat and dressing. That is what I'm going to do. That sounds like I just as well eat at home, but I want to be around people so thats my choice which I choose to go out.

Hope you all have a great day.

It's been several weeks since I posted. I'm a new member to the D2L O! Pals. I just ordered the Level III since most everyone seems to really like that one. I'm a (41 yr old) director of our local senior center and we just acquired a TV and DVD player. On November 3rd, we'll start doing Oxycise as a group daily at 2:00. I hope this helps ME keep on track. Depending on the group we may end up doing the Easy Does It Level 1, but at least I'll be BREATHING! I've got about 50 pounds to lose, so keep me in your thoughts. In reply to the other posts, and having had a toothache recently myself, illness does keep you away from your workout and slows you down. Don't be disheartened. Maybe we are all only a few breaths away from WELLNESS!

Also, I just ordered the FUEL for SUCCESS as well. I've been wanting it for a long time and now that it's half price...... I think we all know how we are supposed to eat, it's just keeping motivated to stay on track that's the real issue. I'm hoping this book will offer me a new way to THINK about how I eat. If I think of foods as OXYGEN RICH, that does make them sound a little more appetizing!

Welcome, Mary and Susan!

Mary, glad your tootache is gone. Sounds like O at the Senior Center is a great idea.

Susan, you'll like the Fuel for Success book.

Susan and Helene, I hope you are both feeling better soon.

Hey y'all! I got my O! done today, but it was in two parts. I ran out of time earlier and had to do the last third this afternoon. At least it's done.

Welcome back Mary! I remember you from back in the "Maree" days.

Glad to see you here today, too, Susan!

Good to see you, too, Helene and Shari! Hope eveyone feeling better soon!!!

SmileI heard from Susanna. She's fine. I hope we hear from her soon. O! or not!!
I didn't do mine yet today. We've had company most of the day and that seems to slow me down.

Mary and Sharon I'm glad you're here. I'm sorry about your lose Mary. It sounds like you are bouncing back finally. Good for you. Enjoy your dinner.

Sharon I think the seniors will enjoy it. My mom does O! and loves it. I should mention to her that they should do it at the senior center she goes to. She sure spends a lot of time there. Smile

I'm not watching TV tonight. I'm going to read. I'll probably do my Oxy breathes while I read.

I'll check in tomorrow after I return from getting my flu shot.

I just came in to read the posts today as I had surgery on my tongue yesterday...5 stitches...so not much action around me today. I am just wrapped up in cozy fleece clothing/ blanket and taking my morphine every 4 hrs.

Helene I have been hoping you would improve more quickly than this but clearly you have bacteria in your system and need that medicine to wipe it out. I agree that perhaps you think about changing the date for your phone call and do it when you can enjoy it. After all- isn't this supposed to be fun?? I hope your wee son gets better quickly for Friday night too! xoxoxox you you both.

ok I am exhausted now..see you tomorrow! xxxNancy

Hello everyone:
We moved to TN from Ne about 3 weeks ago. I haven't been able to get on here before now.
I miss "seeing" each of you and reading your posts.
I hae been sooo busy since I got here. My husband retired and we are staying with my daughter and her family until we find a house.
So far, I've been buisier than before retirement. Big Grin
It's been hard to Oxycise every day here, but yesterday got back on track. (I think) Wink Tomorrow I leave with them for PA to see my grandson that is in college there. I am going to try on "O" in the vehicle and in the motel. We'll see what happens.
I noticed some new "faces" on the board. WELCOME. this is a great program if we stick with it. It has helped me in so many ways. I am 70 years old and find that it helps keep me more limber than I would be otherwise.
As usual I'm being long winded.
Anyway, have a great weekend everyone.
Ruth Roberts foremerly of NE. and now from TN
