Well as I type I am getting my breathing in for the day. Last night we had dinner with some in-laws, and I found out my SIL was still using the O! system. (I loaned her the viedos.) And apparently her mom is, too, and seeing good results. It seems people all over have discovered O!!

Hello, all...

Just checking in to say hello and to tell you I will be doing my O! with weights after I'm off the computer.

Still dealing with this horrendous headache...kinda worried about it. Frown Though, I've heard quite a few people around here have been suffering from headaches and aches and pains in general because of the cold weather. I don't know. Confused I've been taking green tea extract for the past three weeks or so, and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I think I'll call the pharmacist.

Speaking of this green tea extract...am I nuts, or is this stuff a miracle? First of all, I have VERY dry hands, chronically every winter they crack and bleed and look like leather. Swear to God they are healing up. And...I put on a pair of sweat pants this morning that I always wear, and they literally fell off of me. I mean, I ALWAYS wear them. Last week they weren't falling off of me. WHAT THE HECK???!!! Confused Eek Red Face I guess the green tea extract has kicked my metabolism up a notch and has helped me along with all the good things I'm doing. I know this stuff is not supposed to be a substitute for healthy eating and exercise, and I'm not using it as such, but it sure does seem to help if your metabolism is sluggish from years of abuse. Basically, if your weight-loss resistant, like I am. Plus, I take a medication for my depression that makes you weight-loss resistant. WOW...I'm rambling. Sorry! Roll Eyes

Anyways, look it up at www.wellnesspartners.com if you'd like. See what you think...if any of you are interested. Just my two cents worth.

Well, I believe that's it for me. See ya tomorrow!

I'm impressed with your results...and since I enjoy green tea too, I was wondering if you would give me a little more info. Do you drink it 30 minutes before meals? Do you think using the extract is better than just using bag tea? Do you ever have problems with bladder irritation from tea? I often experience that with both green and black teas, so I don't drink as much tea as I would like to. If there's a way to avoid that effect, I would like to know about it!
Thanks for sharing your results with us, Donna, and keep up the good work!!! I'm SO glad you're doing so well!!!

Hey y'all. Well, I'm totally disgusted with myself today. My weight was up again this morning...a half pound! That makes a pound and a half in the last two weeks. I guess I can't blame anyone but myself, though. My eating was horrible this week! I'm finding myself slipping back into some old habits that I need to correct. Also, I'm still waiting on my TOM (this is day 51 now), so I really do feel somewhat bloated. At least my measurments were the same.

I think I'm going to set myself a mini-goal to give myself something reasonable to work towards. I leave on Spring break vacation 4 weeks from this coming Thursday. By then I want to lose the pound and a half I put on recently as well as 2.5 more pounds. I think that is reasonable. I'm O!ing consistently (did it with extra gusto this morning) so I need to focus on my eating to make this happen. My goal this week will be to cut out sweets unless they are natural, like fruit.

There are quite a few posts since I posted yesterday. Lana, Ellen, Tammy, Rose...good to see all of you here.

Donna... like Susanna, I'm interested in knowing how you take your green tea extract. It seems like when I drink hot tea (green or black) I tend to retain fluid more. I already take a diuretic daily for fluid retention, so I try to watch this.

Betsy....I was glad to see you posting. I hope we'll be able to help motivate you and keep you accountable!

Terrie.... we are wanting to put fish in our pond that we can fish back out eventually. We'll stock it with things like bass, bream, crappie, and catfish. Our pond is big...like 10 acres or more, so it's not really for "viewing" fish like koi or goldfish. I have a friend with that kind of pond in her yard and it's beautiful! I've always thought that would be fun to have, too. Right now I limit my "viewing" fish to the inside of my house. I have a 23 gallon tank in my kitchen with an angel fish in it and a 55 gallon tank in my living room with a variety of tropical fish in it. My daughter has a little 2 gallon tank with a tiger barb in it. I've always enjoyed keeping fish.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Kelly

OK...go to www.weightlosshealthbenefits.com, and you'll see what I'm taking. Or, www.wellnesspartners.com.
It is in liquid form...not a tea bag. You put it 8 oz of water of any temperature. You put 1-2 dropperfuls (1-2 ml) in 8 oz of water twice a day. That's the minimum dosage, but I checked with my pharmacist, and have done some extensive research online, and spoke to Wellness Partners, and there are no adverse side effects. So, you really can take as much as you want. There are no artifical sweetners in it. Stevia and Xylitol, lemon and blackberry extract for sweetness. It does taste really good. Degylicerized licorice for the color and consistency. (It's kind of thick and black in color). I guess this headache is not related to this extract, so I don't know what it is. Basically, it's safe, even for pregnant women.

In this form it is highly concentrated, so you get maximum benefits, not as much as in capsule form. I guess you have to take 12 cups of green tea using tea bags to get as much benefits as this form. (400 mg).

Besides the weight loss benefits, there are tons of research that there are antioxidants in it to stave off high blood pressure, keep blood sugar low, help with tooth decay, etc. If you order it, you can get a free book on green tea that gives all the clinical trial information. Pretty interesting stuff. Plus, Dr. Phil recommends green tea, so it can't be a farce. You know how truthful and no-nonsense he is!

Anyways, that's about all I can tell you. Have any other questions, let me know. REMEMBER...it's not a substitute for exercise and good eating habits. It HELPS, but isn't magical or anything. I think it would be a great companion to Oxycise!

See ya!

Don't be discouraged. I know the feeling. Get back on track with your eating soon & it will come right back off. I started to "emotional eat" in Oct & it took me til yesterday to get back down to my all time O! low. Still not under 200 really but it's coming off!

Do you think green tea will work as a beverage or does it have to be the extract?

I did L2 again & walked my feet off to the high school activities today. I'm bushed!

Well, according to Dr. Phil in his book, the daily dosage of green tea extract should be 270 mg. for it to be beneficial. The extract has 400. You have to have 12 cups of tea to equal one dose of the extract. So, basically, it's more concentrated. I mean, if you want to drink 12 cups a day, go for it! (LOL) But, the extract is put in water of any temperature, so you can have hot tea or iced tea.

Hope this helps...

It seems kind of slow here this weekend. I hope everybody's having a good one!

I didn't O last night, but plan to do it early tonight.

Thanks for answering the questions, Donna. That's very interesting, and I'll be waiting to hear more of your results.

Kelly, I've had the same struggle, but I'm trying to improve. I want to really reach my goal...not just stay at "almost there"!

Hi to everyone.

Well, I didn't get any workouts in yesterday. Shame on me! I have a good reason, though.

I was online for most of the day yesterday, working on my business. I am just miserable (once again) in my day job. You probably remember me talking about it a few months ago. The administration continues to give me these empty promises. Just when something good happens and I get to work on the "fun" things that I'm really good at -- writing, alum website -- my boss starts yelling for no reason and stirring everything up! THEN she comes back and tries to be sweet and kind. It's just like an abusive relationship, and I have had ENOUGH. Mad I don't intend to tolerate this any longer. Please pray for me. I have been a nervous wreck all weekend just thinking about going back to work tomorrow and putting up with more nonsense. Stupid, I know, but I get all shook up over these things.

I am moving things forward to start my own company (I have been working on a LOT of it over the past few months, especially my music). I plan to offer web design, press release and bio writing for other independent musicians (and whoever else wants my services), along with my own singing AND gourmet coffee. Did I mention I'm also taking a Life Strategies Coaching certification course?? That means I'll be the singing, web designing, coffee sipping, vocal coach!! LOL. Big Grin Anyway, I know I'll be the best boss I ever had.

I just finished Oxycise Buns/Thighs 1 to make up for yesterday's skipped workout. Later today I'll do it again, then do Level 3 and a walk video.

Have a good one! Wink

Tammy

Good morning everybody. I usually try to get my workouts in on the morning on days I don't go to my internship but I have so much school work due Tuesday, that I have been putting off, that I need to focus on that for now. So I'll be working out later. Maybe Abs and Upper Body plus pilates for dummies and/or my walking tape.

Tammy--I'm sorry to hear things are so bad at work. I will definitely pray for you. And I think it is great you are starting your own business! It sounds like a wonderful idea! Good luck!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I've been out of town for a few days. we took the kids up into the mountains to a beautiful lake surrounded by volcanoes- Lake Atitlan. It's one of my favorite places! I did 2 videos before leaving and several commuters while gone.

Donna- congrats on your clothes falling off! I hope your headache is gone? Interesting about green tea extract. I want to read more about it.

Kelly- I can't help but think that hormones are messing you up. I find it very hard to resist cravings when hormones are weird. In fact- I don't even try too hard to resist. Please don't forget--MEASUREMENTS count more than weight! When I'm bloated I can gain 3 or 4 lbs- 1 1/2 isn't a huge amount. (just a thought--might you be p.g.? only kidding!)

Tammy-- A bad boss can push you into what you might not have had the guts to do --good luck!

Good to see so many posting--see you all tomorrow!

Hi Everyone!

Glad to see you are all doing so well.

Thanks for all your support and kind words, I'm sure everything will workout for us, will just be a rough few weeks which we were hoping to avoid this time.

Julie, I will be thinking about you, I hope your results are good. Keep us informed.

Well I actually managed to do O! last night (Sunday). Will try and do it tonight before going to bed, I slept so much better last night, so I'm hoping O! will help. It has been so hot/humid here, its been hard to sleep.

Well hope everyone has a good week, I'll catch up with you all soon.
