Good morning everyone. I did my O! workout this morning.

We had a nice weekend. It was fun eating out with our daughter and granddaughter yesterday. They came back to our house to open presents and have cake & ice cream. I even splurged and had some ice cream (BR chocolate chip cookie dough). Smile She's in the process of a divorce so I tried to make things extra special for her. She's really having a hard time of it right now. (too bad she won't do O! for the stress!!)

We're supposed to have some thunderstorms today. Yeah, well.... Roll Eyes

Hope everyone's week is off to a good start.

Sounds like a fun WE, Kelly. We have 13 young people here for 10 days from a ministry school in Norway. Looking forward to a great week.

Did L 1 today!

Good morning, Kelly, Shelby, and Laura! I've done 1/2 commuter and part of a tape so far- will finish them both. Congrats, Kelly, on your continued success!

The rainy season here is about 6 months, and 6 months of dry. The dry season is about up, so I'm looking forward to some great storms soon.

Ellen, I love looking at your pictures. What a cute family! You're right, I am a bit sad about our first wedding. I'm happy for our daughter, the young man she's marrying is excellent! But they will be living in Nicaragua for at least a few years and I don't know when I will be able to see her next. My husband is looking for work in Central America, and that way we would be close, but nothing has turned up so far.

Are you feeling better, Janice?
Happy birthday, Tisha!
How's the foot, Buff?
Hope all is well with you, Donna!

Hello to all you other heavy breathing buddies!

Hello!
I did not O! over the weekend, due to my foot injury, but it is better now (((Thanks for asking, Jennifer))) and I did my full workout this morning. I did it without the accompaniment of the commuter tape this time. I am having a harder time keeping up with Jill because it seems like I can breathe in and out for a much longer time now. So instead of rushing through it to keep up, I'm going to try it without the tape for this whole week and see if it makes a big difference in inches or weight lost. I didn't lose anything this past week except for maybe a 1/4-inch off my thigh.
Hard to tell.

Have a good day and keep on breathing!

Hi everyone,

I just finished L2. I have been very inconsistent with O! and every other form of exercise. It is hard to find/make the time now that I have Elise.

She's 9 weeks old today. It is hard to believe that she is more than 2 months old already! I am now trying to lose the excess weight and tone up.

This may not be the place to say this, but I have my doubts that O! alone will help me get there. I am trying to do some Denise Austin as well, 10 minute exercise programs called Hit The Spot. I'm trying to do abs every day and on alternate days do either upper body or lower body. I've heard that you can do abs every day.

The weather is crummy here again. We got a bunch of snow yesterday. It was nice for a while, sunny, at least in the 50's, 60's, and even 70's a couple of times last week. So Elise and I walked with her in the stroller as much as we could. Now that it is yucky again, it is a little more challenging since she isn't really on a schedule and doesn't nap well during the day. She's having a long nap in her swing now, though. (swing isn't moving)

Elise is doing well, growing and gaining weight. She sleeps about 5 or 6 hours at a stretch at night, sometimes even 7 if we're lucky. Unfortunately she has acid reflux so we have to keep her upright for 20-30 minutes after a feeding (I breastfeed). So she spends a lot of time in the bouncy seat or swing. I hold her a lot too. I feel like I've merged with the couch at times with all of the nursing I'm doing which is why I get depressed about my body. But the weather is getting better and we're getting out more.

I hope everyone is doing well. I will try to O! more often. I don't think I did it with gusto today.

Hello O-buddies!

Nice to see so many posting these days!

Ellen, thanks for letting us know that you're doing okay.

Jennifer, isn't it you that was trying the six small meals a day. Is that working well?

Buff, I'm glad your foot is getting better. I think it's so great how adaptable O is, and you don't have to worry about losing the edge that you've gained because you don't have to quit!

Carol, I really think you can do it with just O! It might take longer, or it might not, but I really do believe that O is enough. However, the other exercises sure aren't going to hurt. Cherub just wrote me this morning that she misses those first weeks of babyhood so much, and I know just what she means! It's such a special time, and it's over so soon! I'm trying not to envy you! Wink

Tisha, happy birthday from me, too! I hope you have a wonderful year...the best yet!

Kelly, I'm glad you had a nice weekend.

I didn't O yesterday, but I did on Sat. and plan to get it done before I'm real tired tonight. Eating has been pretty good today. It wasn't good yesterday...but I'll try to be good for the rest of the week! Razz

Susanna---to answer your question--the 6 small meals didn't last but 2 days for me. It seemed to make me focus on food all day, and overeat more than ever--so now I'm trying to do 3 good meals with no snacks. I want to get a handle on this! I want to make some firm habits about food, like I have with oxycise. Thanks for asking!
