Godmorning everyone!
Hope everyone has a great day today. Yesterday I paid more attention to the breathing itself. I think I haven't been doing it right for the past week, since I really felt my muscles yesterday. I do have a "weird" problem. I do a couple of exercises in front of the mirror and I end up spitting all over it when I blow out. Well, actually it's more a funny problem. |

Good morning Brigitte..and welcome!! Hello to everyone else too! I got in a commuter yesterday and hope to get in a tape today. It's still raining (been raining since Monday...non-stop!) here..wonder when it'll quit!
Brigitte...I spit sometimes too..not to worry! Fatigued...welcome to you also! Merritt..so sorry to hear about Dan's cousin..so young and sad! Rose and Cindy..good to have you back! Hope you all have a great day!! Laura |

And a good day to you, Brigitte and Laura! I must have picked up a bug on the mountain trip we took. I have been sick Tues and Wed.- but still managed to do the commuter routine while out in the car. Today I'm much better and will do a couple of tapes.
Susanna-- I did take a pulsatilla and it didn't help much. You know how homeopathic remedies are prescribed in such an individual way. I remembered that histaminum had worked perfectly for me in the past. But it's hard to find. I found only 2 companies on the internet that listed it. Living overseas, there are many companies that won't accept my bancard or credit card because our internet is "not on the same continent as your bank", so I couldn't even order that. Luckily, the allergy season has calmed down a great deal, so I am no longer suffering. And lucky for me, Oxycise accepted my payment and sent me the videos! Good to see you back, Cindy and Rose! Uh oh, looks like I have competition for my name again.
I am keeping up with my O!, as hard as it is. But I want to give this a fair trial, this time. I was eyeing my old size 5 & 7 Levi's today, they look so small! The 7's were my jeans for my "big" days, and I'm determined this time to keep working until I get back into that size!!! In other words, I really am D2L! I'm also constantly re-evaluating my way of eating, and whether there is something I can change to improve my success. (Isn't that "Change One" something like that?) Savanna |

Hello everyone! I did level 3 and strength training today. I also did a commuter on the way to work. I feel so good and strong! A word to the newbies, be sure to do the workout with gusto. That means you should really flex those muscles and when you inhale and exhale, really breathe in and push that air out. Make those muscles work. I have been doing Oxycise for nearly 4 years and I find that I still get sore when I put a lot of umph into it. I can't believe how strong I am now. I feel muscles where I never thought I would. Now, my husband puts his hand on my thigh or buns and tells me to flex. He loves feeling those toned muscles. Oxycise works great but, consistency is the key.
So Kelly, is Marianne and the Skipper back from their trip? I hope they had a good time even though their trip was more like viewing Niagra falls from behind the falls themselves. I had a friend advise me to make Dan's life tough at home. She said that if I give him a huge amount of chores to complete each day that he will want to get out and get a job just to avoid what we do on a regular basis. This is a good plan and one that I am currently working on. What do you all think? Tammy, I hope things are getting better at your work. It seems that this situation is helping you to really focus on your dreams. Sometimes we need a little more than a nudge to get us to do what we know will make us happy. It is the fear of failing at something we love. I wrote down a quote that someone posted on here a long time ago. I keep it taped to my monitor. In fact, since you were always the quote person, it may even be one you posted. It reads "Once and for all, decide that your desire to succeed is greater than your desire to fail". I love this quote and hope it will propel you farther toward your dreams. Okay, it's time for me to get back to work. I hope you have a wonderful Thursday and remember, the weekend is right around the corner! Merritt |

Hello O! Friends--
I haven't been on in several days--because I still haven't been feeling well. It turns out--with my bladder infection I also had a staff infection. Has anyone ever heard of that? I hadn't. Sooo-- I have only done O! once in 7 days. I am getting ready to go do it right now. I hope everyone-- who is sick--is on the mend! I hope those in need--your prayers are answered! I will be thinking of you all--Have a great Thursday! KOB! Julie |

Merritt... that's sounds like a great idea to get your DH to work more at home. That wouldn't work for me, though, my DH still hasn't learned to do what I say.

Hey y'all! It's a gloomy day here, but I'm not gloomy.
Brigitte, you can always check out the breathing tips that Julie has posted if you want to make sure you're doing it right. Someone remind me...where are those posted? Merritt, I think the idea of keeping Dan busy is a good one. You sure don't want him getting too comfortable sitting home playing video games and enjoying himself! Good to see some of you back. (Cindy, Rose, Tama...) and Cindy, congrats on the losses in your absence. I sure hope those who haven't been feeling well will be better soon. Remember all my moaning about wanting rain for our pond? Well....we are now having to let some water OUT of it! I like that thought of the weekend being right around the corner. Meanwhile, I need to get ready. I have Bible study later...we've just started a new Beth Moore study and this is the first week for discussion. Hope everyone has a great Thursday! I'll check back later. Kelly |

Hello...
I don't feel good at all. I am extremely fatigued and chilled to the bone. I have dark circles under my eyes, and I feel like I could sleep for a week. I wonder if I'm fighting some type of bug. I am torn as to whether I should do O! today or not. I don't even know if I'd make it through. Maybe I should just sit this one out. I don't know. GOD, I HATE THIS! Can someone help me through this day, please? I need help. Thanks, Donna |

Donna...you DO need to listen to your body!! Have you been to the doctor? I think the general rule regarding working out is if your symptoms include a fever or if they're below your neck, you don't need to be working out! I would think that some deep breaths throughout the day would do you good though! I know how you feel about being obsessed, but sometimes a strenous workout will only prolong your illness!
Hang in there! Laura |

I didn't do my O yet today, but I think I will be able to later. My head doesn't ache quite as much, so I plan to post later saying whether I did or not!
Donna, you've been doing so well, and we aren't just going to let you slip away and forget about the wonderful changes that you've been experiencing just because you are sick right now! We care!! So, take care of your body, but keep posting so we know how you feel! Julie, I sure hope you get on top of all that infection. I've never heard of that combination either. Savanna Rose...I like that! If you need an outline of the ChangeOne plan, I can email one to you. Kelly, we could sure use some of your rain! But maybe we should wait a couple of months so we don't have lots of ice. Merritt, no one knows your Dan like you do! You might find that he does such a good job of housekeeping, etc., that you'll want him to STAY home! Cindy, welcome back! Talk to you all later. |

Donna, I know what you are feeling. I am the same way. Exercising does slip away from me easily but, Oxycise has brought me through tough times on more than one occasion. You absolutely have to listen to your body. I would go so far as to call the doctor if the symptoms don't ease up. You can bet that we will all get you back into the swing of things in no time. I agree that you must keep posting even if it's a one liner.
Take care of yourself and you will be feeling better in no time. Then, I will get the whip back out. Merritt |

hi everyone. i got my easy does it L1 tape and tried it out yesterday. i like how there aren't any of the wall exercises (because there isn't a free wall in the family room with the vcr). i also like how it goes slower so i don't get all freaked out trying to keep track of breathing and positioning and switching chair to floor to wall and everything. hopefully this is something i'll really stick with... the final segment with jill in her sports bra top and little skirt is rather inspiring... maybe some day i'll be able to show off my tummy too.
so far i've done 2 days in a row with the new tape... i don't like doing it infront of my family though so i think on weekends i'll do a commuter tape in my room and add other positions. i just have a hard time doing the breathing without jill setting the pace. so that's my rambling for the day. take care. betsy. |

Good afternoon, everyone. I did my O this morning, but there are too many cookies and cakes around the house for Valentines Day. I'm going to do and extra O this afternoon, hoping that the extra oxygen will attack those extra calories and make them dissappear. Ok, I'm just dreaming--but it couldn't hurt, right? Have a good day, everyone. Later, Fatigued

Hi all,
Today has been such a blur. I have been praying and praying for the strength to say something to my boss, and today was the day. I am so astonished and proud of myself.... I can't tell you just how liberated I feel right now. I'm sure I've said it before -- I am typically a pushover -- it runs in my family, and it's something that I've been working to correct, but it is still hard for me to stand up for myself sometimes. Well, 24 years of silence, and 2 years of unhappiness in my job, came out today. I came as close to blowing up as I could. Just when I was about to be taken advantage of for the millionth time, I took matters into my own hands. I marched into my boss's office and told her how unhappy I am... how I really feel like a lot of time is being wasted... I could go on and on. She didn't look surprised at all. She smirked and actually smiled when I finally started to raise my voice -- I really think she enjoyed my anger. She asked me some ridiculous question, kind of a put-down, and that is when I snapped. She acted like I was the wrongdoer, like I was being disrespectful for thinking it's a waste of time. She said "did you think (the changes) would happen overnight?" It was so ridiculous for her to come out with that. You'd think that more than just a schedule change would happen in 10 MONTHS. If you were an employer concerned about losing one of your most competent, friendly, bright and quick employees, wouldn't you make the effort, rather than string them along? The look on her face said it all. I just feel so sad that I have trusted her to be truthful and supportive of me for so long. Guess what was playing on the radio on the way home? "A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action" by Toby Keith! God smiled and laughed with me this afternoon... I do really feel like I had an out of body experience. The little ole me that always takes everything to heart and frets over the littlest things, was NOT in that office today. I am off to work out. I will keep you up to date on my happenings in the next few days. As always, thanks so much for listening. Hugs. Tammy Visit me online @ http://www.vocaldreams.us |

Wow took a while just to read all the great post. I sure enjoy reading them. Sometimes i do the spitting thing to, must be holding my mouth wrong or smiling too much
well enough about me everyone keep up the great workouts. If u are feeling poorly best to take the day off, cause i find if i do the O anyway & i am coming down w/ something it takes me longer to get over it. Yes some men like the stay at home duties so be careful what u give him to do, i agree he just might like it. |
