Hey Shelby...and all to follow. My daughter had to work today, so I've been up since 6:00 and gotten lots done (including my O!).

DH and I just got back from feeding the fish in our pond. We don't feed them often since we don't want them to be dependent on dry food. Besides, the pond is HUGE, so we couldn't begin to feed them all on a regular basis. I was still in my nightshirt when my DH wanted to go, so I just went as I was! (ah...the pleasures of country living)

Maybe I can find some time to read today. My SIL ended up bringing our granddaughter over to swim yesterday afternoon. Our daughter came over when she got off work and they ended up staying for supper. So, I never got any time to read until right before bed (when I was too sleepy to read long).

Hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Oh my it has been a week since I posted Frown ! I have been in bed with a migraine.

We take Meggie to a new groomer for her summer haircut in 15 min and it is my first trip out of the house all week.

I tried to do my O! the day my migraine hit but 2 min into it I was so weak I couldn't do it and started weeping. But today is Saturday and I am confident I can sit in a chair and do at least some of it!

Have to find my clothes for the car trip so ta ta for now, I will check in later. Have a happy Saturday all!

Namaste,
Nancy

Hello all,

I'm Erin, new here. I posted a hiya in the get-to-know-you board, and Kelly welcomed me and invited me to this daily thread. My brief background is I am nearly 31 (on July 27th), live in WA state with hubby and 2 small boys whom I homeschool as well as have enrolled in a cooperative community school 2 dys/wk, I practice tai chi and reiki, am learning to crochet, and am a home herbalist and gardener.

I had been thin and petite all my young life until about age 22, when my body's metabolism changed, I moved to an area not conducive to walking, which I had always done, not having been a driver previously, and now, 2 babies later, find myself with 30 or so extra pounds. I learned about O! while searching online for exercise videos, and found the philosophy to be sound, as well as intriguing. I checked out the intro package from my local library, liked what I saw, and purchased my own set. I have done the routine sporadically over the last few months, but now am ready, with my free summer days, to commit to doing O! daily (except when menstruating; no exercise is comfortable for me at those times). I like to do it best in the late afternoon, when I have gotten some of my busier things out of the way, when the day slows down a little, and before I have to start on dinner. My youngest boy, almost 4 and 1/2, likes to watch the video when I do the routine. He likes to point out the 'bun tuck,' LOL. Big Grin I loooove the deep breathing involved in the routine, and the chance to nourish myself daily. I look forward to living the O! lifestyle, and having this supportive community in which to live it. Smile

Peace,
Erin

Hi, all...

Going to do L1 after I do a little bit of work on the computer, and a little bit of gardening.

I decided to put ladybug stickers on my calendar each time I exercise. It is very gratifying to look at all the stickers and realize what a good thing you are doing for your body. Nice motivator! Thanks for recommending it!

Have a nice rest of the weekend,

Donna Smile

Erin welcome to our group it is very nice to have you with us! I am happy you found out about O! and made the investment of the videos, we love them here - we are all a little "O! mad!".

Gerry took me to the dog groomer and then we went visiting with good friends and they sold us on using their contractor when the time comes to do our renovation. We are really not happy with the people we have now so I guess our reno is back on...yahoo!

Time to rest then time to O! in the air conditioning. Enjoy your afternoon guys.

Namaste.

Hi O-buddies!

It's sunny and warm here now, after a cloudy humid morning.

Welcome to Erin and Paula Kay, and anyone else that would like to join us.

I've had a hard time getting back on the O-wagon buddies...can you believe it? I'm just tuckered out from our trip and then trying to get used to my dh's new schedule, etc. I REALLY REALLY want to get back at it though, so I will.

Ladybugs would make cute markers, Donna.

Thanks for being here...and for all the welcome back messages! I really appreciate you all!

Hi!

It's Sunday, and my DH has to go back to work tomorrow. Frown Wish he could stay home with me all the time. Oh well.

Anyways, I will do L1 after I log off here.

I decided to use Spongebob Squarepants stickers instead of ladybug stickers. (LOL) Gosh, I love him! Yes, I am 37 years old, but he still cracks me up every time! My DH thinks I'm nuts.

Until tomorrow...

SmileWelcome Erin and Tiptoe. Glad you found us.

Susanna, I can relate to the slow start getting back into the routine. Vacations can do that to ya! I love them anyway Wink.

I haven't accomplished my two a day for the last two days. Shame on me, but we've had company all weekend and I haven't found the time. I'll make up for it during the week. I did find myself doing the deep breathing though; my daughter looked at me and asked if I was doing a little O! while I was listening to the conversations going on around me. I didn't realize I was, but I was without thinking. Gee, I wonder if I do O in my sleep! Razz

Carol, you take care of that little precious one and I pray for both of you.

Michelle, your prayer to Carol brought tears to my eyes. It was beautiful.

Got to run. Just wanted to check in with all of you and say thanks for being here for support.
