Hi Everyone, I had some catching up to do on posts and today's the day it will happen as I'm home sick.
Welcome to all the newcomers - love having you with us. Suebee, you're in my thoughts - hope all goes well. Ellen - how was 'Fiddler'? I absolutely love that play. Joyfulmama - good going - you are an inspiration! I think it was you, Lucinda, who talked about life getting in the way of O! I'm still struggling with that too. Some days I think my life will settle down and some days I think I'd better get used to this because, it is what it is so deal with it! But, coming here for encouragement is a blessing. I'm hoping that my system will calm down because I want/need to go back to Jill's intro tape and review - make sure I'm doing what I'm supposed to, etc. I think that by my doing the commuter most of the time that I get sloppy. Mornin, y'all!
Have done my O! for the day I like doing it right after breakfast now, after I've fueled up. And I love that it is a workout that I *can* do right after eating, w/o worrying about cramping and such. When the kids get back into school, and I helping int he class, I'll just switch to doing O! after I'm home and have had lunch. I think I'll look to see if Jill has any videos geared towards abs. The midsection needs the most help on me. I wish you all well, have a great day! I'm off to play in Portland with my girlfriend today. She's trying to convince me to get a tattoo, LOL. Good afternoon O-buddies!
I haven't posted because I didn't "O" again on Sat. & Mon. Sat. we were busy helping our DD & hubby. We will probably be doing that allot, as they get ready to start building. I was to tried from helping them & our late night on Fri. to do "O" on Sat. BTW.."Fiddler" was great! We really enjoyed it. Shelby..that was neat to know you & DH fell in love to it. Then Monday I was just TO LAZY!! I didn't do much of anything. I also ate like a PIG over the WE. TOM is coming that is probably why I was eating everything in sight. But, I got on the scales this morning & there was no gain. That is what I like about "O" for me. I can miss a few days & things stay the same. My muscles still feel good, tight & stretched, too. I don't start to feel fabby. Michelle...Congrats on the smaller shirt size. O!2B...sorry you are sick. Erin...YES! they have a tape called "Abs & Upper Body" There is also "Buns & Thighs I&II". They really work you out good. Jeans..You inspired me yesterday with your 3 stars! Thanks!!! I did Abs&UB & L4 this morning. I have also been doing breathes as I work around the house. So I think I deserve 3 smiley faces for today! KOB "O" Pals! & remember it is ALL worth it in the end! Ellen |

This is funny...I just had to laugh! I thought I'd share it with all of you, too...
I also belong to the Kathy Smith Forum, and I read this one post from this woman today who said that she had a very weak core. She was wondering what exercises could strengthen the core muscles. Well, this girl replied to the post to do the EXACT SAME THING that we do, in Oxycise! Lift belly button towards the spine, do a kegel, tighten the two butt cheeks together (aka "bikini butt", as she called it), and breathe! She learned that from a Kathy Smith Pilates video! What a riot. I was tempted to reply to her post..."Just freakin' do Oxycise, for crying out loud!" But, I chickened out. Funny, huh? Donna |
