Good morning! I finished my O! pretty early today. DD and I also did 2-miles.

Yikes! When I logged in here this morning I noticed my picture was twice as large as it has been!!! I've switched back to one of their avatars....couldn't handle seeing myself that big, LOL!

It's great seeing all the new folks here with us!

Mandy...I've been O!ing (and posting here) for more than 4 years.

I read a post of Nancy's recently that talked about making homemade soup. I've been craving some ever since, so I have a pot of my favorite simmering on the stove right now!! Yum!! I made potato chowder day before yesterday, too. Both are pretty low in calorie (esp. the one I'm making today).

Okay...gotta run. I was supposed to be at the church 30 minutes ago and I haven't even showered yet!! If I stop now, I can be there by 10:30.

I peeked yesterday but spent my "typing time" writing to Susanna, so no post. I haven't gotten back to O!ing the way I should but will.
I, too, have a craving for good homemade soup - haven't had the time this week but plan on cooking next week. I have a recipe, if that's what you can call it, for a quickie - just dump cans & heat - tomoatoes,carrots,black beans, whatever. I might have to settle for that until I have time.
Kelly, I liked your picture a little bigger. Not only are you pretty but you have such a calming look - your warm & caring soul shows through. Now you just look like a cheesehead!

Hey! Wisconsinite here. What's wrong with cheeseheads?!

I didn't O! yesterday and doubt I will today. My upper back is really in bad shape. I went to the chiropractor yesterday so I'm even more sore now from the adjustment. I've also managed to catch a nasty cold. I really didn't come here just to whine but it helps me to check in even when I don't O! That way I still feel connected and will tend to get back on the wagon more quickly once I feel better. (That's my theory anyway. )

Hi! I couldn't get in here earlier, but I'm happy that it worked now!

I did my O last night, plus I pushed the old lawn mower around some yesterday, and get to do more of the same today. Lucky me!

EmBe, I'm so glad you keep posting because it DOES really help to stay connected. I'm so sorry that you're having lots of pain though. I hope things improve very soon!

Hey! I'm back and just had to chime in with a few more comments. I made it to the church a little after 10:30. Turns out I was actually supposed to be there at 9:00! Yeah, well....

Jolene...We must have been posting at the same time. That happens sometimes... I had been having some trouble getting into the board and didn't notice there was anyone else here with me when I finally was able to start a thread. Better two threads than none!

Thanks for the compliment, 2B. You're sweet. I picked the cheese since it's one of my favorite foods. As far as cheeseheads go.... I've sure met some nice ones on here! (I know you didn't mean anything bad by saying I look like one now )

It poured rain while I was at the church...but DD said they didn't get a drop where she works (only a few blocks away!) It was sprinkling on me on my way home, but had fizzled out within about a half mile from my house.

Good to see the rest of you here and hope to see more before the day is over.
