I see there are several guests on the board with me this morning; I am wondering if some are members that just haven't logged in yet. I am taking the chance and starting today's thread. I wanted to be the first to say Happy Friday. Big Grin

Lois/KOBAS -- you are doing GREAT! I am so glad you've returned to the board! Cool

Someone please nudge me Roll Eyes -- after a stellar week and great results last week, I've barely done any breathing this week. I've done well in most other areas, but really need a boost. In the spirit of EmBe's proverb/signature, I'm getting back up!

Good Morning!! Just finished L2. I seem to go back & forth between L2 & L4. Yesterday I got 1 2/3 Commuter done in the van going to town. Told DH when I got home I was so tried of huff'n & puff'n that I couldn't finish the other 1/3 of the 2nd routine.Roll Eyes I had done the commuter the day before also & was really feeling it in my abs & hips.

Good Morning O!Wonderful Friends!!

I did 10 O! reps in my bathroom this morning before leaving for work. Then when I got to work, I did 10 more in the bathroom. I have 10 more to go (at lunch or in the afternoon to wake myself up). My eating was good yesterday (except I ate rather late) and my water was good.

Good Morning Again Oxy' Pals!

Tammy, thanks for the happy Friday wishes! I can't believe another week nearly gone. Wish there were some way we could slow them down just a bit!! I like EmBe's proverb also!! There are sure many times I have to try to give myself a little "get back up" kick! Wink I wish there were a way to stay perfectly motivated at all times.

Ellen, sounds like you are really getting in your Oxy-breaths! I know I have that commuter tape around the house here somewhere. I'm going to dig a little and see if I can find it and put it back in my glove box. I'm not driving as much now as when I worked full time, but still would be nice to get a few extra deep breaths in while I'm going to the store, etc. Cool

Melinda, I hope you were not affected by those terrible storms. We heard on the news about some getting close to Dallas. There sure have been some terrible storms during the last few months, and I guess the hurricane season is barely underway yet.

Alex, that is great that your hubby is doing Oxycise with you! I think mine would like to join in, but he gets a little light headed. I think that passes after you have done them for awhile! You guys are really young and have your lives ahead. How wonderful you are taking the necessary steps to be healthy!!

Susanna, thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm sure hoping for success even though it seems these unwanted pounds are just glued in place! It does help to have buddies to be accountable to.

Lois (KOBAS), sounds like we are both starting this program again. Best wishes to you and wishing you lots of success! I'm trying to rid my cupboard of all the unhealthy foods so there are no temptations around here. Last night we had a little popcorn which I don't think was too bad except for the popcorn salt.

I think I had a pretty good day yesterday and got in a 33 minute walk, a 15 minute Oxy. Level 1, 15 minutes on the recumbant bike and about 10 minutes with the stretch bands. Today I plan on taking a longer walk and enjoying the weather before our big heat starts rolling in! Yikes. It is hard for me to picture some of you are still having SNOW!!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I had a little argument with myself about getting up to exercise before work this morning. Essentially it ended like this..."Alex, you're an idiot...go swimming!". So I swam a mile this morning and hubby made me breakfast before I left for work.

Hubby & I will either O! tomorrow or, since its supposed to be sunny & 72 tomorrow (yahoo!!!) go somewhere for a walk. Its so nice outside right now...its torture to be stuck in an office! Only 1.5 hrs left. We're ready for the warm weather here...lately its been rainy and in the low 40s. (Cars frosted over some mornings!)

Maybe I'll just take a nap outside when I get home...nothing like a nap in warm weather Smile Funny, I don't think I particularly liked "nap time" when I was a kid...but boy do I wish we had it at work!!!

HAPPY TGIF, EVERYONE!

Thank you, Tammy, for your encouragement!! It rained most of the day with a bit of snow throughout the day as well. We went to the mall for our 30+ minute walk. We timed it so that we could walk 30 without stopping and then we walked some more. lol Big Grin

I haven't O'd yet but plan to do it in a few minutes. I've never O'd or exercised this late before. My heart is heavy from family stressors so that kind of makes my body feel a little heavier, too. Didn't feel very motivated this morning to do my exercise routine. I wish that I would have! Frown Today is the end of my first week. I measured this morning in the 4 areas suggested and I have lost a total of 2 1/2 inches this week. Thank you all for your encouragement and support! Hope you all have a great weekend! Smile
