Good morning everyone!

I did B&T 1 this morning.

I took weight and measurments this morning but I lost my sheet that I've been keeping track of my progress for over a year! Frown So, I have nothing to compare my measurements to. Guess I'm starting from scratch. I do know that I'm up a pound from where I was. But 2 days ago I was down 2 pounds, so ?? I am obviously fluctuating all over the place. I guess the important thing is I feel "tighter" and I can feel a difference in the way my clothes are fitting.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy breathing,

EmBe Cool

Hi Embe,
I just have to throw in some encouraging words here!

If you are feeling tighter and your clothes are getting looser, that's AWESOME. And that's more important than what your scale says.

Don't rely too heavily (no pun intended) on your scale. Jill has pointed out that it's totally normal for our weight to go up and down by several pounds from day to day, and even from morning to evening. You can do an experiment with this and chart your weight for several days, weighing 2 or 3 times a day. You will probably see a variation. Jill recommends becoming familiar with your weight "range" and continuing to weigh yourself once a week so you can watch the long-range trend.

But if you are losing inches and tightening up you may even see a small gain of muscle weight over time -- don't let that throw you off. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body will burn (even as you sleep!)

So continue to eat healthy, drink lots of water and keep on breathing!

Congratulations on the results you are seeing!

I seem to be having problems posting today. I just wanted to report that I did get my O! done this afternoon.

My retreat was lots of fun! We had great fellowship. There were 16 of us there for the evening session, six of us spent the night and 3 came back for the morning session. It was really a blessing.

Glad you're seeing a difference in the way your clothes are fitting, EmBe. A true sign of progress!

It's always nice having you post with us, Julie.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Hi Everyone

EMBE congratulations on your losses, I agree with Julie and Kelly feeling a difference in your clothes are definately a sign of progress.

Well Julie my challenge is to actually get back into routine of doing O!, my eating is pretty good most of the time, but I also have trouble drinking lots of water too. Every day I think I will do it but something always happens to distract me.

This week I have managed to do 3x O! sessions and have really felt them all. So once again am going to try a little harder to back into routine.

Have a good week everyone.

It is over 100 here and humid so I have not done a thing but clean/organize house and do laundry all day. Even the dog is flattened out on the floor in the corner and she hasn't eaten all day.

It is too hot to type! The winds have died off and it is getting 'eerie' out there so it is going to rain soon.

Time to get dinner organized, I made a salad and put it in the fridge an hour ago and DH is putting on steaks. Somehow meat seems too much for tonight I may pass on it.

Ciao ciao,
Nance

Thanks for the encouragment everyone! Smile That's a good suggestion about charting my weight for a few days, Julie. Thanks. Smile Part of my problem is that my scale isn't very accurate anyway. Depending on how I stand on it or where exactly it is on the floor, it reads differently. It's a bit frustrating. I tend to rely more on my measurements, but like I said, I lost my progress chart. Frown No matter really. I know from experience that O! works and it makes me feel great so it's worth hanging in there. Smile

Nancy, soooo sorry it's such a miserably hot day for you. It's nearly impossible to function when it gets like that.

Melinka, sounds like you're off to a good start to get back into a routine.

Kelly, glad to hear you enjoyed your retreat.

I just finished L2 so I've gotten in my second session for the day. Smile I usually take Sunday off, so I probably won't post tomorrow.

Hello everyone.

Kelly that is awesome that you lost more inches and weight this past week! You are doing so well.

Embe hang in there, it all works out in the end. Just feeling more toned makes a big diffence too.

As for me... Line up everyone... I am one of those ones this week that desires a good swift kick in the butt........... to get moving again. My back is acting up again and had to see the chiropractor finally, but I really have to get with it and get started again. As a result, my scale has not moved since May 28, but at least it is not going up either.

Have a great weekend. Hopefully, those kicks will get me moving tomorrow and next week.
