Good Morning!

Did L1 again this morning. A little sore from yesteday. I'm trying to think of "O" & eating right as a Health thing not as exercise & dieting. Don't want to become obsessed with losing & then get discouraged.

Shelby...Happy Birthday to your oldest baby.

Ellen

Hi Shelby and all to follow,

Glad you are feeling better now. Happy birthday to your oldest (you did not say son or daughter!) Oh to be that age again!

Well I just weighed and measured.

I am actually up 4 pounds from 134 to 138 but that 134 really was b/c I just plain did not have time to even eat regular meals. So I would say the 138 is pretty much where I was before so I am okay with that. I have lost 1/2 inch in my waist since I last measured which was before Thanksgiving but my hips are up 1/2 inch and my calves are up 1 inch on each calve which is strange, so I am off to get started getting it off.

I am off to earn my Star for the day!

Good luck everyone in gettig back in the swing of it.

Lin

Hey Ellen good to see you again. We must have been posting at the same time!

I agree with you about the O thing and the food.

Hey everybody! Yes, Shelby. I did my O! today. Tell Gab happy birthday!!

Ellen, Lin...good to see y'all posting today.... and all those who posted after I did yesterday.

I made a big pot of soup yesterday. Yum! We've still got some temptations lurking around the house, but I'm trying to ignore them. I keep trying to forget that bag of frito scoops in the pantry. Wish someone would just finish them off! (other than me Eek )

okay...got things to do. Have a great day, y'all!

Good morning everyone.

Just finished Level 1. It feels good to get back into the swing of things. I have been o'ing everyday but today I actually did it first thing again. Much easier for me than waiting until the day is half over Wink

Shelby congratulations on having an adult! Tell them Happy Birthday!

Lin and Ellen I agree it's more important to think of it as being healthy than to think of the dreaded words EXERCISE and Dieting.

Everyone have a great day and let's earn our stars Big Grin

Sharon

Kelly we must be on at the same time. Enjoy your soup. It sounds like it would be really good for lunch. Especially since it is cloudy and is to rain later today.

Ellen I like your outlook on "healthy" instead of exercising and dieting. Sounds better doesn't it! Wink

Hello and Happy New Year! ! !

I said I would be back after the holidays and here I am. I really hope that I will be stronger next holiday season and won't whimp out on the exercising.

It took me a couple of hours to read all that you have been doing. Congratulations to all, that were determined and committed to good health.

I am going to start this year with adapting some of the ideas to keep me focused. One is the stars on the calendar. It will give me a visual to stay on track. I also am not making the mistake of setting too high of goals too soon. It is one of my biggest downfalls. I think I will also do a guilt free day to let myself think this is not a diet.

Enough of the rambling. I did some o's here at work and will do the level one tonight. I will also remeasure as I know I gained about 5 pounds since the beginning of December.

Glad to see everyone coming back and hello to all of the new people just signing in.

Hello to all:
Just finished my O's - I have collected my thoughts and went over my notes. I started on 9/19/05 and have took off 9 pounds to date.
I know I haven't set the world on fire, but I have had to deal with a lot of stress with my DH in hospital and the Holidays and all the other things I deal with. Neither did I fit exercise and everything in every day so I'm not upset at myself but feel I did pretty well.

I'm starting this year to improve by
Red circles on calendar for O's and black for how far in miles walked.
I don't want to get upset when my weight fluctuate.
Stay calm when things get hectic around here and stop worrying. Stop, say a prayer and move on.
Adapt Ellens word choice "HEALTHY".

These are my promises to myself.

Hi to all my O buddies!

I get a gold star today also, since I did L3 this morning! Yea!!

Glad to see so many back on the board. I also like the idea of not thinking of this process as a diet, but a health journey. Good point, Ellen. To all that have lost weight, good job!!!! To those of us that wandered, we will get back in gear. It's a new year, let's kick some booty (weight-wise)!

Shelly, my Mom tells me that no matter how old your children get in years, they will always be your "babies". Tell yours happy birthday for us. Ah, to be eighteen and know what I know now......................sigh.

Well, I have to do other computer stuff, so until tomorrow, KOB!

P.S. - Kelly, instead of eating the Frito Scoops, just do O tummy scoops! Big Grin

Missy that's great that you started a day early!! It is wonderful that your 10 year old son wanted to have you start tonight. He will be an encouragement to you. Claremore - the home of Will Rogers museum. It is really pretty there in "green country" with the rolling hills and trees. So very different from western OK Big Grin

Maree congratulations on 9 pounds!
